Russkaja banja

An outstanding pine and cedar fragrance. Makes you think of a genuine Russian "banja" (a kind of sauna). "Sensuelle Russie" does in fact evoke the country it alludes to, namely Russia. It is strong an gentle, cold and warm at the same time, playing with the contrasts which shape the image of Russia on an olfactory level.

Autumn in a bottle

This is a Nice warm comforting scent,starting of rather Sharp With Pine and Cinnamon . But soon the Vanilla and patcholie takes ower and makes this a rather sweet cosy scent. almost like a appel cider With lots of cinnamon. There isent Apples listed , but i can smell it .
It isent to masculine at all . its rather sweet and almost to much in away. i would have preferd it to be a bit dryer on the pine note. maybe a bit more Cedar aswell .
Its long lasting and jummy. Perfect for thouse cosy times With the Family around Christmas or Autumn times. baking apple pies and having a good time . it would be so apropriet for this ocation.
I am testing this side by side With Guerlains Aqua Allegoria Winter Delice , i rather like the last one better InFact, althouge this Winter delice is a bit to much on the masculin fire side maybe..I would have loved to find something in between this two . not to sweet , not to dry . ohh im longing for the Perfect Fall scent. maybe put this two togehter would do the trick ;)

FROHE WEIHNACHTEN * MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HO HO HO

I’ll get straight to the point:

What a beautiful Christmas scent!!!

And that sums it up perfectly:
with Le Bain Sensuelle Russie, you smell like a Christmas potpourri in the best sense!

A huge wave of delicious, fruity, juicy orange with a hint of lemon greets me after application.
Super quickly, a lot of cinnamon and spices join in. I think I can smell clove and cardamom, and also cedar, which pleasantly ensures that the scent doesn’t become too sweet.
In the base, there’s a good amount of vanilla and a little patchouli, and the orange takes a bit of a backseat, which I personally find a bit unfortunate, but it takes away some of that potpourri character, which is good because the scent doesn’t remain one-dimensional.
In my opinion, it’s a warm, spicy, definitely oriental unisex scent with slight tendencies towards the feminine, but I think I can wear it :)

The most important thing for me is that the scent brings me joy and spreads good Christmas cheer. I can easily overlook the fact that I probably won’t wear this scent much beyond the Advent season, as it’s just too extremely Christmas-like.
The scent intensity isn’t very high, and the longevity is about 4 hours, which is just right for me since I’m not into overpowering sillage.
A blind buy that is worth smelling, I must say I deserve some praise for that... :)

What starts with "W"?

I love Christmas above all else. For me, it could be celebrated every day, not just because of the gifts! It’s simply a magical time; shining children's eyes, homemade cookies with hand-churned organic butter, glitter, trinkets, and ribbons, drunken tourists at the Düsseldorf Christmas market. And everything smells sooo good, except for the latter. I always somehow long for Christmas, transforming the pre-Christmas season in my memory into the holiest period of the year. And I am still searching for a fragrance that reflects Christmas 100% for me. The closest I’ve come so far was a room fragrance that could have become my Xmas No. 1 fragrance; unfortunately, I no longer remember who the manufacturer was: either Floris or Penhaligon's in a blue spray bottle. In any case, this room spray was uniquely creamy-smoky, with tons of spices and loads of oranges. Whoever brings it back to me will receive a reward. Why am I sharing all this here? Because Le Bain Sensuelle Russie reminded me so much of that lost fragrance in the opening that I almost shed tears of joy. But then came the whale. My tears stayed where they were, in the appropriate channel, and I was confused. WHY? I had pushed it back into the sea, with the help of some others. It crawled back out, the fat fish. Now the scent reminded me more of Ambre Précieux, not bad - but just too gray-meaty for me. What a pity. One can almost be glad that the sensual Russian didn’t stay long, because I wanted Christmas, not whale.

Christmas scent or hope dies last

With this fragrance, I was instantly transported back to my childhood. Occasionally, someone would visit us whose perfume I would immediately notice when I came home from school and opened the door. And I loved that perfume! Unfortunately, as a child, I never dared to ask what that wonderful scent was, and to this day, I have not smelled anything comparable.
Until the day when Georg kindly sent me a sample of this fragrance. Eau Sensuelle Russie must share some notes with the scent from my childhood; I suspect cardamom, pine, and cedar. Therefore, I found this fragrance very appealing right away! However, it is not quite as green, although the pine clearly contributes to a needle-like aroma.
The Christmas atmosphere is created by the spicy cinnamon and amber, which gives it a slightly vanilla touch, something I find very lovely. Unfortunately, my skin kills these notes far too quickly and allows cedar and amber the most room to unfold. To my regret, I no longer perceive the spices and pine as strongly.
I love spices and am still on the lookout for an affordable Christmas scent, what a pity.
But nonetheless, this fragrance is truly recommendable; it’s just very hard to find.
