I can't understand the hate!
I have been looking for a fragrance that captures that "rain vibe" quite well for some time now. For example, "When The Rain Stops" by Maison Margiela Replica, which didn't really convince me, promises this. And what "When The Rain Stops" does wrong in my eyes, Pioggia Debole ("weak rain"; there are other "Pioggia fragrances" by Filippo Sorcinelli) does right!
The fragrance has an overall green vibe that I, despite not usually liking green notes in fragrances, find very appealing. Imagine walking through a park or botanical garden after the rain, not a forest; this scent does not have that forest feeling in my opinion. This green, slightly woody, fresh air best describes the fragrance for me.
In my opinion, the fragrance is most beautiful at the beginning because that "air-after-the-rain vibe" is the clearest then. Overall, the fragrance develops quite linearly and straightforwardly. It lasts quite well, and the sillage is decent for a summer scent. I cannot understand the hate and the negative comparisons and examples. The fragrance has little in common with other smoky, burnt, and dark scents by Sorcinelli, but in my opinion, it is definitely one of his best! It is definitely worth a test sniff!
