risk-free
Recently, I stumbled into the department store overheated and found refuge at the perfume counter with the new arrivals.
From the many bottles, I picked out Sky because I like Acqua di Gioia - and also its flankers.
Yes - Sky fits into this family and offers no big surprises - but also no unpleasant ones.
I got what I wished and expected, namely invigorating freshness.
That suited me very well.
Pear and lychee are cool and fruity, and the centifolia is full with a touch of elegance.
Helvetoids are said to be reminiscent of ambrette seeds - in any case, Sky has a nice prickly factor that I don't know from the other di Gioias.
It tingles pleasantly on the skin - caught by slightly tart blackberry leaf.
A subtly elegant freshener.
For me, it's not a must-have scent, as I already own several di Gioias, but anyone who doesn't have anything from this line could very well take a liking to this prickly, invigorating fragrance.
