Guerlain typically just good!
I really like the new L'Homme Idéal in the perfume version. As is typical for Guerlain, however, I didn't expect a bad fragrance here either. Guerlain is one of the brands where you can always be sure of getting good fragrances. For me, it's probably also simply the best designer house.
The fragrance starts with the typical L'Homme Idéal DNA. A wonderful impression of almond comes to my nose accompanied by a really nice and pleasing leather note.
This subtle sweetness also resonates. It's just super well put together and it smells wonderfully good.
Over time, a slightly fruity breeze also wafts into the nose.
The almond accord is now actually approaching a kind of amaretto. The leather note is still there, but it is simply smooth and totally pleasing.
Towards the end, the leather recedes a little, but that lovely almond impression is still there for me, albeit a little milder. It also becomes a little sweeter without becoming really sweet. In other words, don't be afraid that this fragrance is a mega gourmand, not at all.
The fragrance is definitely wearable unisex, but in my opinion it definitely suits us men even better. However, as I said, women can also wear this fragrance well.
