Sandpaper Green.

I adore green notes; nothing says spring, freshness, more beautifully than a green fragrance. Here, however, I don’t know, I have the impression that I am the victim of a terrorist attack with sarin gas. This green is too powdered, too harsh, it attacks my nostrils like sandpaper, it hurts, brother, no joke! And at the base, there is something sinister, embarrassing, nothing more, nothing less than the combination that defeats me every time: ambrette with musk. I don’t know what I could say about the silage, projection, etc. I can’t really tolerate myself long enough to comment.

Ador notele verzi; nimic nu spune primavară, prospețime, mai frumos decât un parfum verde. Aici însă, nu știu, am impresia că sunt victima unui atac terrorist cu gaz sarin. E prea pudrat, prea aspru verdele ăsta, îmi atacă nările ca șmirghelul, doare, frate, nu glumă! Și la bază are ceva sinistru, jenant, nimic mai mult, nimic mai puțin decât combinația care mă înfrânge de fiecare dată: ambrettă cu mosc. Nu știu ce-aș putea spune despre siaj, proiecție, etc. Nu prea pot să-l suport pe mine destul de lung ca să mă pronunț.

In the Garden with Some Flowers in the Summer Wind

AugustA had already written a comment on the edp version, which for me also applies to the Extreme version in general. The edp Extreme is for me a bit calmer, rounder, and deeper, but less bright and effervescent compared to the edp.

In QFJS, I initially do not primarily find the floral scent that the name of the original suggests, but rather an enchanted garden with various types of flowers, a murmuring brook, a sunbeam falling through the greenery. Along with that, the smell of a meadow, which perhaps adds a bit of bitterness. The overall picture is peaceful, refreshing, airy. One walks through this garden surrounded by lemon powder and lingers hour after hour among well-tended and lush flower beds.

The scent in this intensified version, which feels softer and more powdery, also tells me a bit more about past times that never quite fade away, until it dissipates after a few hours in the summer wind.
