Sweet and vaguely floral powder over a musky/ambery base...dense and impenetrable, tho' heliotrope pokes through, unremarkably. Yawn.

Scheherazade lounges on the wooden divan in the flower garden. Nibbling on juicy fruits + petting the Siamese kitten. Warm-spicy Oriental night.

Vanilla-infused heliotrope definitely defines purple 1oo1 nights. Between the divan and the tassel-trimmed velvet cushions, vice reigns. Impressive.

Scirocco blows soft sand from afar to the island. I'm barefoot, lost in dreams. Tropical night, purple-golden, full of exotic blooms.

That was my substitute for Joop's Nuit d'Eté back then, which is also discontinued now. Those were my favorites from the '90s. I miss them.
