Immense good!
Flori tests a men's fragrance and finds it good??? Yes, gentlemen, exactly that!!!
Immense is available from Scherrer as a "couple's fragrance" for her and him. However, I would classify it more as a summer (men's) and winter scent (women's). Both are very well wearable by us ladies.
Immense pour Homme is the fresh representative. It doesn't even start citrusy, but rather with the freshness and delicacy of the lotus flower. Perhaps there is also a tiny bit of white pepper in there.
But right after that, there are flowers in abundance. They are more the white flowers of the delicate, gentle, green variety. Lotus, white rose, maybe a little neroli with lots of green tones. It is sweetish, but not sweet, so it can definitely be worn by the masculine faction ;-D
I would place it in the range of Ming-Shu, Mei-Li, and similar fragrances, with Immense being a bit woodier.
The scent does not show much development, but remains in this white-green floral note until the end, as mentioned, with a slight woodiness in the background. No animalistic traits, no leather, no vetiver, and - although advertised by the brand - also no oriental notes.
I really have to think hard about whether I will let my husband have this one ;-))
The longevity is okay, but not excessive; thus, Immense is a nice daytime fragrance that can be replaced by another favorite scent in the evening.
The sillage is subtle, but it does create a lovely aura in projection.
The Immense bottles are identical, except for the color, which is copper for the "women's fragrance" and silver for the "men's fragrance." They look a bit like futuristic skyscrapers and are triangular when viewed from above. Clear, puristic, and very appealing, without frills.
Both fragrances are very affordable, and I can only recommend them.
