A short walk...
... On vacation in Japan, in the dense moss-covered bamboo forest, through which the gusts of wind from the sea gently brush, I smell foreign, ethereal herbs and the morning light falls through the trunks onto the mist of the night, while the dew slowly gives way to the day, I feel full of energy, as if after an ice-cold shower, which invigorates me and motivates me to make even more of the day today. There's a temple by the side of the path, the one with the curved roofs, and a monk is lighting a few incense sticks before devoting himself to his morning meditation, while another is tending the temple garden in the morning light, smiling contentedly as he runs his hands through the still damp foliage, probably because the scent of his own botany is wafting into his nose. I linger for a moment, reflecting on what I've experienced and my day, feeling particularly connected to everything because of what I've experienced, otherwise I'm not spiritual or anything. At some point, I set off again, but just as I start to really enjoy the walk, the forest ends and I find myself standing in the ankle-high grass that will accompany me all the way home.
Absolutely great fragrance that conveys something very special, a mixture of cleanliness, mysticism, clarity and sovereignty, unfortunately it ends after an hour and you sniff at most close to the skin, which does not do justice to such a good fragrance, super pity, would not buy it again because of the short longevity, but only because of that.
