Lavender Fields
I review what is considered one of the best lavenders scent.
I can only confirm it.
It is said that the Fairy Lavadula, with blue eyes and long blond hair, wanted to find a place to settle and, leafing through a book, she chose Provence, a land, at the time, arid and bare, so that the fairy began to cry from displeasure for those places.
Her lavender-blue tears fell on the pages of the book, staining them. To remedy her damage, the fairy tore out a piece of the sky to cover the stains and so all the fields in Provence were covered with expanses of highly scented blue flowers, those of lavender.
A lavender which initially, I won't deny it, left me speechless for a moment: at the opening explodes in all its strength, then it becomes exceptionally sensual, clean, accompanied by a pinch of rum and a noble incense.
I find it melancholy at times, because in addition to being a wonderful flower, it has the characteristic of maintaining its scent for a long time even when dried, and perhaps projecting us into memories, whether good or bad.
Van Gogh's "Lavender Fields".
