Summer Air
For this price you can’t ask for more.

The opening is very sparkling and refreshing citrus, not really a big fan of lemon pledge kind of aroma.
The drydown is much better, smells of fresh salty air.

Longevity is not huge, around 4-6hrs. Projection is great, leaves a nice salty marine trail.
The sprayer is bad, the price is very affordable (23€).

Overall, i think it’s worth its price if you’re into marine salty freshies.

I still haven’t worn it in summer, it probably gets much much better :-)

Too citrusy
My friend "parfumistas" on Facebook told me that this one was a great summer scent, so today I tested it, but I didn't find it so good. I think that something went wrong in the composition of this fragrance: the lemon notes are too strong and vibrant , they seem almost synthetic and they cover all the other notes, in particular the salty touch I didn't perceive . I'm sorry , but this time my dear "L'Erbolario" failed.

Salt and Sea.
It always proves true: Don't judge a fragrance until you've worn it extensively. Well, often a little sniff is indeed enough to form an opinion. But often it is not.

In any case, I described in a now-deleted statement (after a few sprays and a certain waiting period) that "Fior di Sale" smells of salt, earth, and sweet strawflower.

What I did not expect was its development over hours. From the initially slightly sweet, salty earthiness, a truly beautiful impression of sea freshness emerged. These maritime notes do not lean towards Cool Water Eau de Toilette or "Green Irish Tweed | Creed," but rather remind me of Verde di Mare or "AnOther 13 (Eau de Parfum) | Le Labo." Perhaps Calone was used here.

The synthetic aspect is so subtle that it indeed creates the impression of a natural sea breeze.

And once again, I experience that L'Erbolario produces really good fragrances. Everything is well-balanced and wears wonderfully. Even the (inevitable) white musk is barely noticeable, and the overall impression is completely convincing.

It's amazing that in the vast world of fragrances, one can still make beautiful discoveries. In this case, a really good scent comes with a pleasant price (30 euros for 50 ml), which has a certain lightness while also being long-lasting. Respect.

The Lemon Resin Sun
There are fragrances that create inner images. Fior Di Salina is such a fragrance, a refined creation, particularly - wonderful and yet so different - it seduces me into a harmonious oasis.

First, there are these incredibly fresh, cheerful citrus notes. The peels of this wholesome, radiant fruit are strikingly close and particularly well captured. There is no alcoholic opening - you are immediately immersed in the scent; galbanum resin adds an interesting and noble note that I particularly like. And by noble, I do not mean prestige-noble, but unique; authentic, like a person can be noble in their nature. With this opening, Fior Di Salina invites you to feel good. And somehow, even though this fragrance does not really remind me of the sea, I would love to bathe in it. :)

Floral warmth from jasmine and iris, with a good dash of patchouli, then bestows this unpretentious citrus composition with its comforting warmth, as if the sun, with its calmness and tranquility, were enveloping everything around it. Strawflower and musk roll out bright velvet carpets for the finale and gently round off the fragrance - into a small, fine lemon resin sun.

One could almost call Fior Di Salina SPArfum - because everything rests within itself and seems harmonious. The interesting, noble note remains present. I embrace everything about this fragrance. If only the sillage / longevity were just as wonderful, but perhaps the fragrance simply wants to stay close to the skin? The price invites you to spray again.

Addendum:
In cooler seasons, FDS cannot unfold its sun as beautifully as in summer. I feel a bit wistful about that, but I look forward to those sunny summer days with our sun worshipper again.

Here, I actually enjoy the salt note for a change. It’s pleasantly blended into a moderately sweet floral bouquet.

The pollution of the seas is advancing.
This Aquaten is unaffected by it.
Pure idyll by the sea, complete with sea spray.

Many Italian brands handle these aquatic salty notes well. Here with zesty freshness and a hint of jasmine. It's something.

An extremely successful, airy-fresh interpretation of the sea.
Lots of salt and spray. Luckily, not much cream.
Instead, delicate flowers and citrus notes.

Wow, this one is great. Initially salty-aquatic, Fior di Salina later becomes aquatic-creamy. Rough sea, summer day, sunscreen.

Sea water dries in the sun on sandy warm, bronzed skin. Warm aquatics with spicy freshness, only downside H/S.

A small island in a very salty sea, overgrown with citrus plants and straw flowers. The other little flowers remain hidden from me.

Definitely not a failed salty-aquatic thing, but it's not a must-have. Better to go for the namesake salt scrub from this brand.
