So, Pistachio...
I liked something about you, I think it was the pistachio!
That's why I ordered you online (in a small size) (for 10 euros). (You were sold out in the store - so I could only smell your shower gel there.)
Unfortunately, when you arrived, pure, I felt a bit nauseous.
I could have sworn there was at least as much (roasted?) ALMOND in you as there was pistachio.
But I had already suspected from the first sniff that you would only work for me with lemon. I had a sample with something lemony, but it was too weak for you.
You are very, very, very dominant!
So that’s definitely great for someone who really wants a heavy pistachio. (But not for me. A hint of pistachio breeze for summer! But gladly with long-lasting power.)
I knew I could tone you down.
Not together with other gourmands, as the AI had suggested (I felt sick). Or even with
Melograno! (Headache potential and nausea combined), just because you come from the same house - who trained the AI?? :-D
But "same house" was still a good keyword. Coincidentally, you were there, in the "mixed cosmetics store" with personal consultation, where a Nivea eye makeup remover costs double what it does in the drugstore. And next to you were your siblings - from the same house!
Cedro di Calabria (which means citron from Calabria) and
Verbena.
All 3 together: fits!
That was easy.
The saleswoman liked it too, she let her colleague smell the layer test strip.
Your siblings were also available there in small sizes. Luckily, they standardly had 5 ml more in them than you, because: I need to spray each of them twice to three times more than you before you step into the background.
You are already strong! That is commendable in itself.
Yes, you work. I like you.
For this (remaining) summer. With your siblings.
:-)
Best regards

Addendum:
I intuitively tried again today with
Melograno: 2 spritzes of Pistachio on the nape, one Melograno directly on top, and one
Nuit de L'Himalaya on the left side of my neck. NOT too much/complex! They harmonize really well! All 3 have blackcurrant; Melograno and the one from Rituals also share pink pepper and lemon. I wanted something citrusy. But above all, I was in the mood for the deep base note of Melograno today - that was really a good idea and I didn’t find it "too much" for the OFFICE (remarkable), because it was so HARMONIOUS! (and it really toned down the Pistachio well.)

In autumn layering,
Morning Dew is also great for this. The two have a similar kind of sweetness, with the Pistachio being more gourmand (pistachio cream), while the Morning Dew is quite powdery, resulting in a very harmonious outcome! You need (as always) more of the Morning Dew than of the Pistachio.
