Ripe for the island...
After months of Corona lockdown, home office and weather frustration, the strap is down...in the basement....no, the 2nd basement floor...
Perfumistas have the advantage of being able to at least olfactorily beam themselves to any location.
Nothing easier than that! Said-done, blind ordered and off the journey goes...even the annoying suitcase packing can be saved.
L'Erbolarios "Cocco" comes in a coral red pareo therefore. A wonderful contrast to the blue sky, turquoise sea and the green shimmering palm trees in the South Sea breeze.
I sit in the beach bar and sip a Batida de Coco...
The scent opens right after spraying on with a coconut milk that smells very natural, slightly powdery with a hint of lemon cream. Ylang-ylang is very restrained and only shimmers through as if through a light veil. Jasmine and rose I do not perceive.
Here you look in vain for sticky, pappige sweetness, which knocks you out of the deck chair in the heat.
This fantastically gentle coconut-lemon ylang cream lingers with me for about 2 hours before it retreats in favor of vanilla and a hint of tonka bean.
After 3 hours, "Cocco" is quite close to my body but I can still perceive it and the feeling of a dream vacation does not quite let me go.
The fragrance is not particularly the sledgehammer in sillage and durability and who may linger a little longer in the South Seas, should re-spray.
With me, the dream vacation from the bottle at last minute price may definitely move into the perfume shelf.....Aloha!
