La Rive occasionally gives us good dupes for expensive fragrances. (Black Creek is a very good example for me)
Fragrance:
First of all: I'm not a professional, I'm just an average perfume lover. Right at the opening, I don't notice the citrus sweetness mentioned here in the pyramid. I don't perceive the fragrance as sweet, but rather spicy and smoky. But without smelling too much like a "campfire". Really in an interesting, pleasant range.
Shelf life:
Considering the price, I have to say the fragrance performs really well. You need less than with other La Rive fragrances and it lasts the day.
Sillage:
I myself have it intensely in my nose for a long time. Pleasantly perceptible for the environment, absolutely unobtrusive. Also suitable for offices etc.
Flacon:
Simple elegance. Cap & sprayer kept inexpensive, but both work according to instructions.
Price/performance:
I bought the fragrance for around €6.50 at Rossmann. You get a lot for your money.
Don't be confused by the very fruity-fresh scent it is described as having here. I myself only perceive it to some extent later in the drydown. For me, however, the spices and woods stand out.
