Mulled berry on ice: when cognac dances in a snowstorm
If you love the cognac-heavy warmth of Angels' Share Eau de Parfum, but would like more fruit like in Angels' Share Paradis, then Fire on Ice is a good alternative , a good alternative.
The very first seconds deliver a dense cloud of raspberries, more like a sweet raspberry syrup, cinnamon sugar and a cognac note that is more reminiscent of velvety liqueur than sharp alcohol. The sweetness is not sticky on the skin, but has more of a "chilled" effect almost like a sorbet that buffers the light cinnamon spiciness.
I perceive the typical Angels Share DNA permanently in the fragrance, very slightly rose and woods in the background. This progression remains the same the whole time, but the raspberry syrup dominates, which I personally find very nice.
Shelf life: On clothes until the next day, on the skin a good 8 hours.
Radiance: Very good in the first few hours, from 4 hours it flattens out a bit for my nose.
I will now let the fragrance mature until winter, I think it will perform a lot better then.
In general, I would say the fragrance is slightly more suitable for women but clearly unisex.
