After I was quite satisfied with the "Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory | Lattafa / لطافة", I thought I had to test the red one of this series And the "Bade'e Al Oud - Sublime | Lattafa / لطافة" convinced me even more than the Oud for Glory.
As you can easily tell from the title, this is an
Eden Juicy Apple | 01 dupe.
I have never tested the original, but a good friend owns it and was able to confirm that both smell very similar.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get straight to the fragrance.
BAO Sublime starts with a rather sweet but dreamy apple note, the likes of which I have never smelled in any other perfume before.
I don't notice anything else at first.
Gradually, I notice something floral.
But the floral notes are more in the background.
The fruity notes are in the foreground.
The apple can also be perceived in the DD, paired with some other fruits, but I can't recognize them 100%.
According to the fragrance pyramid, it's lychee and plum.
That could actually be it.
The fruity notes remind me of gummy bears.
I'm sure it's cheesy for many, but I think it's great.
For me personally, the DD is simply a fruit cocktail that smells like gummy bear juice.
Sweet, juicy, fruity, but the fragrance still has something clean about it, probably due to the floral notes in the background, which makes it wearable in summer too.
Is it really unisex? I would definitely wear it, it's just a super delicious fragrance, but it does have a feminine edge, which is important to know.
Performance is average to good.
The fragrance lasted a maximum of 7-8 hours on my skin.
And I perceived it well for the first 1.5 to 2 hours.
After that, you have a slightly smaller but pleasant scent bubble around you.
I can recommend the fragrance to anyone who likes it sweet and playful and especially to people who like to smell like gummy bears haha.
If you like it serious and mature, you should probably get a sample first or pass.
