Ray of light in liquid form
It’s light in liquid form — gentle, almost spiritual.
Right after spraying, I get this refined freshness; the green notes remind me of clean air after the rain. Then slowly, the tuberose blooms — pure, transparent, never overpowering. This is the kind of tuberose I’ve been looking for.
Thankfully, the violet leaves didn’t mess things up (they’ve been tricky on my skin lately).
And it’s not just tuberose — I can clearly smell jasmine too, all cleaned up and blending beautifully with a soft base of musk and woods. There’s something ethereal, suspended… the same luminous grace I find in Tuberose in Silk or Lys 41.
It’s calm, radiant, feminine in the most delicate way. Basically, everything Nuit Charnelle failed to be on me.

Goddess of Creamy Spring Light
Finally, another tuberose-jasmine profile I can love! The attributes I seek in a white perfume: an intimate, white creamy milkiness, a drop of green, and above anything else, comfort! Elegance! I'm not surprised that the second tuberose perfume I've fallen in love with has jasmine in the mid-notes, or that it's also made by Masque Milano. The first tuberose I have ever loved was also from Masque, Luci ed Ombre, and had jasmine in the middle.

Hey, Honour Woman, check this one out: a quarter of your price, a lot more beautiful and gossamer, and moth ball free to boot. This one and Vaiana from the new Masque launch caused me to have a dilema: which one to get? It's like both are calling my name... Finally, I chose Catherine because I don't have any tuberose perfumes in my collection, as I ran through 10 ml of Luci ed Ombre in record time.

The name and bottle design kind of annoy me, to be honest. It's kind of boring and unrelated to the creamy goddess of spring scent on the inside.

In sfarsit, o tuberoză pe placul meu!

Calling Masque Milano marketing team: take a break and come back with better idea pitches!

Jasmine Green and Tuberose White after the Rain
Catherine is a refined, extraordinary fragrance that opens with green jasmine, but also has a slightly grassy, rain-soaked lily of the valley, which smells remarkably realistic here (even though it is not listed in the notes…). It is indeed clean and fresh, but with notes of lily of the valley, violet leaf, and tuberose. In the dry down, it becomes softer, less floral… then reveals more musk and cashmere, with a hint of warmth from sandalwood and vetiver, overall without becoming overly complex.

tartness from rhubarb, creamy familiar tuberose, slightly grassy vibe, & a base of cashmeran with musk. simple. turns rubbery though.

The top notes don't pop as Catherine opens light-fresh white floral. The drydown adds some creamy feel w/ musk & cashmeran. Poor performer.
