Red and bright like a ruby...but not sexy
On the drugstore shelf brights a multifaceted red bottle: I'm approaching to it, attracted by the bright colour and by the name: "sexy ruby". "Oh my!"-I say-" this one could be my scent!"
Well, I spray the fragrance closing my eyes and imagining a cloud of vibrant oriental notes or spicy accents....but....it isn't so! What I smell is a light and bright flowery scent with fruity accents and a fizzy character. It's pleasant, okay, but where's the "sexy" character men tioned in the name? I'm a little disappointed. Anyway, I appreciate the White blossom notes and the rasperry touch , while i don't smell the peppery note I see now in the pyramid. But the Achilles heel is the base: too evanescent, quite imperceptible...and it's a pity because it 's made of warm and coconing notes such as Cashmere, Vanilla and musk. The sillage too is quite weak in comparison with the high price . So, a spring summer scent to wear by day too and not only in sexy occasions, unless you want to conquire with lively naturalness.
The bottle is a little jewel: just like a ruby, it's red, multifaceted, precious and wonderful to show on the perfumes shelf. Maybe you pay mainly this luxury packaging in spite of the quality and the sillage of the scent.
