Versatile musk
Traditional master perfumery of Grasse has its own surprises. This review in for EDT version which supposed to be lighter than what we have here. However, the notes arrangement mentioned for EDP version is almost match to my split.
Vanilla amber, marine ambroxan, white musk, opoponax and berry notes. The opening immediately raises a flag: gift shop! A gift shop full of very wonderful handmade and imported from abroad items that you want to stare for hours. Gift shop has always a significant smell like wood, incense, sweets and candles. The fragrance initiates with soft fluffy musky theme imparted in fruity yummy sweetness that bring a mature woman with immature face to mind; as those in Vermeer's canvases. the following is the process of growth and the very example of the classic definition of the perfume that says the more you go the nicer it becomes. Easy going, easy to wear, versatile, soft and divine musk without slightest animality.
