Spicy tangerine fragrance!
I was eager to get Tangerine Boy because of its tangerine notes. I'm currently on the lookout for nice fruity fragrances (one for every fruit). When I first sprayed it on my skin, there was this nice citrusy and juicy tangerine scent. It was great and I was hyped! The ginger was in the background, giving this superb, well-round, not too acidic tangerine scent. The pepper in the background gave it this nice zing to it, stimulating the senses which made me smile. It reminded me a bit of orange Tik Taks. This was the part where I thought the scent was definitively unisex.
Unfortunately, after a few minutes, the fragrance took a turn towards the "men" perfume territory. I'm not one who likes to apply genders to a perfume, but I see my boyfriend wearing this way more than I. I think the pepper and ginger combined with the moss to make a scent reminiscent of men's cologne / aftershave. The tangerine is still there, but it became more of a ghost. I could still smell a bit of juicyness and citrusy smell but it was no longer the star. It's a nice fragrance for sure and people who love pepper and tangerine will obviously fall for it, but I'd like to reiterate that it's not a unisex fragrance. Like AT ALL. A win for all men, but a loss for me. It'll be going to my boyfriend's collection!
