yummy
I tried Prada Candy a few times; try as I might, I couldn't smell a thing. So I scoffed at the idea of a l'eau version; how much lighter can a no scent perfume get? Well, I was proven wrong. This fragrance is much stronger, a nice fruity caramel on my skin. I can smell coconut too, but it must be something else in the composition causing such an effect. Longevity isn't all that great, maybe a couple of hours, 3 at most. But this is a light, noncloying fruity floral gourmand and smells of quality compared to other fragrances in the same genre.

The Delightful Surprise of Butterflies
I must admit, I fell to the bias of a name and never gave this a try either Prada Candy or Prada Candy L'Eau seems like it was going to be too sweet for me. Well surprise, surprise! This is a smooth powdery opening with a creamy, slightly soapy middle, akin to Dolce & Gabana's defunct "Sicily" but with out that same sickly sweet dry down that ruins the whole Sicily experience for me, personally. Prada Candy L'Eau remains ladylike, glimmering with young exuberance and yet supple, creamy smooth and a little spicy at times. A gorgeous Winter floral scent for every day into night wear that will be both memorable and yet, not overwhelming in its projection. It's been on my arm for about 6 hours and is still very noticeable, yet not too strong. This is not at all cloying as I might have imagined, nor is it childlike or heavy. The dry down is more floral than sweet and more clean musk than sticky brown caramel on me. By now it has melted into my skin and the sillage is about 3-5 inches (7.62 cm) radius off my skin. Pleasant, but not suffocating. Perfect for a night out on the town or an intimate dinner by candlelight. I am going to work through my sample before deciding whether I need this in a larger size, but I must say as someone who frequently finds mainstream fragrances to be overwhelming, I was totally delighted with this soft, feminine powdery creamy fresh scent- it was like opening a box of live butterflies and watching them fly into a clear blue sunny sky- utterly delightful and simply uplifting!

Can O' Pop
I can't stand this. For me this is, basically, the "fruitchouli" version of Prada Candy.

Gone is the animalic benzoin creamy vanillic musky goodness of the original, and in the place of the original's understated sophistication and beauty is this generic patchouli/praline crap that's the basis of so many modern scents today, though I might add that I believe this trend to be, thankfully, coming to an end!

Flowerbomb,
La vie est Belle,
So Elixir,
Coco Mademoiselle,
Etc, I.E you get the idea.
(This genre is not my niche nor my forte.)

The best of the Prada Candy range, in my personal opinion, are the original and the "Kiss" variation - which ups the muskiness of the original to dizzying heights, with more nuanced floral notes and a removal of the citrus.
Adore.

Prada *Amber/ Sweet Pea*
I bought a decant of this perfume because I love sweet scents, but I wanted something that was a bit lighter to wear while I'm visiting my relatives over the holidays. Unfortunately, this is not at all what I was expecting. The most prominent notes in this fragrance to me are amber and sweet pea, with something vaguely sweet in the background. The longer you wear it, it does become a bit sweeter, but it doesn't smell at all like caramel. It is a nice scent and has grown on me a bit, I do not think it is at all the way it has been described or advertised.

Sugar Water with Soap
Another scent from Prada's candy line. This time it's L’Eau, which at least by name suggests something lighter or more diluted.

And this scent could also divide the ladies into two camps. On one side are the soap haters (what do you actually do when you're in the shower?? Probably bathe with a clothespin on your nose ha ha ha...), and on the other side are those who can distinguish that there are differences between well-crafted scents that are a bit soapy, but therefore also smell clean, and those scents that actually just smell like (cheap) shower gel.

Anyway, I would, as so often, recommend both camps to test this scent here, as it smells sweet as always and... is simply a great fragrance.

The scent:
The fragrance starts off citrus-fresh due to the citrus fruits, but then you immediately smell the very sweet caramel that you know all too well from all the candy scents. The caramel is intense, but seems to be a bit "brighter," by which I mean that the sweet notes appear a bit lighter than, for example, in the regular Candy.
In addition, you can smell the well-known Prada DNA in the background, which means something clean and slightly soapy.
A few minutes later, you can also smell the musk, and I find that the musk (but also the soapy DNA) in this scent is even a bit more noticeable than in the other Candys, which may be due to the fact that the caramel here feels a bit lighter.

Longevity and sillage:
The longevity is four to five hours, after which it becomes weaker so that you can only smell it if you go with your nose to the spot. But let's stick with four to five hours.
The sillage is not very strong, despite the main sweet notes. But as mentioned in the scent description, L’Eau radiates these sweet notes more softly and loosely, so it doesn't come across as strongly. Perhaps still detectable up close, but by no means strong enough to leave even a scent cloud.

The bottle:
The bottle is the same as all the Candys, so it's cylindrical with a thick glass bottom. The fragrance liquid is beige (or skin-colored). Just before the umbrella-like spray head, there is again the familiar strip in a darker beige color, where the Prada logo is written in golden letters. The aforementioned umbrella-like spray head has, as always, a golden edge and is black. I find the bottle, as always, very nice, but I prefer the colors of the other Candys.

So, as with almost every Candy scent, you can hardly go wrong with this one either, unless you just don't like occasionally occurring, clean-smelling soapy notes.
I must admit that I sometimes don't like soapy scents either, it just depends on how they are made, and Prada does it very well, so I have become a big Prada fan (*sigh* the women always have a larger selection of different scents) and therefore really like their fragrances.

This Candy is best used as a daytime scent, as it doesn't come across as extremely sweet like the others, so it can also be worn on hot days. However, this makes it the least suitable for going out, as the sillage and longevity are even worse than they already are with the Candys (unfortunately). But, you can always spray yourself several times throughout the day, which I would also recommend, because it really smells wonderfully delicious and cute and sweet and whatever else :D

So, go test it! Right now! Or even right away,… just make sure you go test it :D
And? Are you going to test it?

So, now we just need the Candy Kiss, the brand new one. Oh dear,… I have to go to the shelf where the Candys are, which means that this shelf will be full of pink-sweet-cute colored bottles,… oh no!

My mom's signature. It smells of light, soft lemon, that floral smell you get when you go to the florist and a pleasant sweet musk note

Falls into the category of "doesn't bother me." Citrus notes followed by a floral-sweet mix with a creamy tendency.

Candy light with a fresh-citrusy opening and no overwhelming musk note - completed with the typical Candy base note. My favorite.
