Infusion d'Smoky Grey Vetiver

A very fresh opening with the Bergamot, Orange and Ginger medley, sitting on a soft subtle Rose which adds more to the pungent blast of freshness.
The Vetiver adds a grassy, smoky texture which rounds off the sharpness from the cocktail of citric elements and always stays as the most prominent note. A little too prominent for my liking as it smells a bit too grey, smoky and a tad synthetic. This smells like a more polished D and G the one Grey. Not a lover of it though. But it's a well blended scent. The overdose of Vetiver ruined it for me

Over-the-Counter Feel-Good Elixir Not Just for Dreadful Days

Had a terrible day? Is the weather really disgusting? Then a few spritzes of Infusion de Vetiver are just what you need. I guarantee: a sudden uplift in mood, a spreading sense of well-being. Vacation feelings and euphoric states cannot be ruled out. All very desirable side effects of this infusion!
Prada hasn’t just brewed any old vetiver water here, but has created a small olfactory masterpiece of a short vacation. Zesty ginger, invigorating citrus components, bergamot, rose - all of this hits my nose practically immediately and triggers a fireworks display of wonderful associations. Vacation, sun, warmth, a glass of wine in hand, wind rustling through the grasses, serenity, relaxation.

I’m sticking my nose to my wrist and letting my soul dangle.....

Vacation at Home

The travel exodus has begun - and the last stragglers are at least packing their bags.

I belong to those who stayed at home, tending to the familiar soil.
But trips to the perfumery are a must.
What do I come across?
A vetiver from Prada?

I wouldn't have expected such a bright, clean start.
The vetiver note is downright fizzy on my skin - pleasant like champagne.
The ginger is spicy and not sharp, and the neroli cools.
Champagne in an ice bucket.
But slowly the vetiver dims down - through the addition of dark red roses.
A beautiful, interesting progression, interwoven with light bergamot.
Even here in the coal district, I smell Mediterranean landscapes.

Why wander far - see, the good lies so close.

Thanks to Prada for the short trip!

Autumn Afternoon in the Leafy Forest

A forest, bright and friendly. Birches and beeches grow there. The light trunks reflect the sunlight. The soft rustling of the leaves, which move with every breath of wind, fills the air. It smells spicy, lightly of iris and rose, and a little earthy. The opening of the fragrance Infusion de Vetyver by Prada has something dynamic and fluid about it. As it develops, a gentle calm sets in, reminiscent of a pleasant, mild afternoon in the woods. After an extended walk, you arrive at a log cabin that invites you to linger. You sit outside on a clearing on wooden benches and tables, enjoying afternoon coffee. Aromatic, bitter, mossy, earthy autumn air surrounds you. The bark of the trees and the grass and herbs of the clearing release this scent, which encourages you to breathe deeply and savor it down to the last molecule, allowing you to relax. The rustic yet playful aroma of Infusion de Vetyver also has something refined, even elegant about it, which made my nose "perk up," so I would love to add this perfume to my collection. Now that it’s getting cooler, it would be a good opportunity to lift my spirits into a cheerful autumn mood. Autumn is already one of my favorite seasons because it is so colorful, often mild, and always varied and diverse. A fragrance like Infusion de Vetiver perfectly captures this mood for me. The Eau de Parfum has very good longevity and sillage and becomes softer, slightly powdery, and rounder. With autumn roses!!!! A very successful fragrance variant by Daniela Andrier, who has already hit the mark with Infusion de Iris (which I have) (Spring)!!!

This is my favourite summer vetiver scent. Super refreshing, original take on vetiver. Fresh but also a bit creamy due to iris. Love it
