Maybe the true La Femme?
Well, now we are talking… My yesterday review was on Prada La Femme. I was not overall convinced that I wanted to keep it since it has a watery expression on my skin. Not a bad perfume, just not interesting enough. Luckily I have a tester for Prada La Femme Intense, and the word Intense hits the spot. This has way more power than the original. Even being a linear with just three notes, tuberose, ylang-ylang and patchouli, this puts on a show. A show that lasts for seven-eight hours. And all the way through I am really entertained.
All three notes are highly appreciated by me and together they make an outstanding trinity. I must say that I get a little anosmic, but that is a well known fact with the linears and me. This is so feminine and delicious that my partner keeps sniffing my throat when I wear it. So who cares if I cannot smell it after a few hours?
This will swap places with La Femme.

One becomes bolder when testing...
* sigh *
I sometimes really struggle with certain Prada fragrances. I mean testing them. La Femme is not my favorite line from this brand, but the Candys always give me a headache about how I can discreetly test them… and I see that a new Candy, Candy Sugar Pop, is already on the way… * sigh * :D

But I had a certain hesitation with this fragrance as well, though I still dared to spray it on myself right in the middle of the women's department. And for comparison, I even sprayed the regular Prada on my other arm! That's quite an achievement, isn't it? :D

Okay, I have to admit that the women's department was empty… he he he, unfortunately, the cash register was right behind me, which was NOT empty and which I only noticed AFTER spraying. I thought I would get caught spraying… aargh, aaaah but: That was not the case! Because I tested the fragrance in a drugstore that has many other things as well. And since there has been terrible weather with wind and rain outside for a few days now, everyone was busy looking out the cash register to see how strong the wind was, generally complaining about the weather, or briefly looking for new umbrellas and hats, so NO ONE saw me.

* sigh *
I bet that the next Prada fragrance, especially the new Candy, will have the store packed again... :D
But now let's get to the fragrance...

The Fragrance:
The fragrance starts off heavily floral, but also somewhat sweet. A Prada DNA, which you know from the old or other fragrances, that clean-soap feeling is not immediately recognizable, but only becomes apparent over time. Although the fragrance does not become really soapy, a small, clean feeling does emerge slightly later.
The beginning differs from the regular La Femme in that it smells less floral (or has fewer floral notes) and is earthy with the patchouli. The sweetness (presumably from the tuberoses) comes gradually. In the heart note, the patchouli seems to fade a bit into the background, so that both La Femme fragrances (by both I mean the regular La Femme as well as the Intense here. I do not count La Femme L’Eau, as I do not know it yet) now smell somewhat similar. But then, a little towards the base, more differences become noticeable again.
The Intense fragrance is generally heavier and more humid at first; I find the ylang-ylang smells significantly stronger here. The regular La Femme smells a bit looser and fresher here despite a little beeswax. Additionally, the patchouli returns in the Intense, giving the fragrance an earthy note again (which is completely missing in the regular Femme). Overall, the Intense is, as mentioned, heavier, more humid, and thus also seems a bit more mature.
Overall, the fragrance is quite okay, but I simply find the regular La Femme more beautiful.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is okay and about as strong as the other Femme. This means that at a normal distance, it can be smelled for a while, but it does not necessarily leave a large scent cloud.
The longevity is better, as I could smell it for at least ten to twelve hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle has the same shape as all the new Prada fragrances. From above, it looks like the letter "D" in shape. The front features the Prada/Milano inscription along with the logo embedded in the glass. The back is adorned with a burgundy artificial leather, which I find nicely done. The cap is T-shaped and gold-plated. As always, the bottle looks high-quality and great; I really like it, and even though it looks so massive, it fits well in the hand.

So, I didn't like this fragrance that much, at least not as La Femme. It's quite okay, yes. And I would recommend it for a test, but personally, it came across as a bit too heavy and humid for me, which I don't really like. Although it resembles the regular Femme a bit, the regular one is looser and simply smells better than this one. However, I am sure that this fragrance could appeal to you ladies much more than it does to me.

For those who enjoy heavy-scented fragrances, especially with humid or stuffy ylang-ylang and (sweet) tuberoses that together also seem a bit more mature, you might want to check out this fragrance. I, on the other hand, would still recommend the regular La Femme, as it simply appears more beautiful and has the same intensity, even though this one carries the name "Intense." By the way, I think La Femme Intense has become a fragrance for autumn, while the first La Femme also comes across quite well in spring.

Well, now the L’Eau is still left from this line, but it probably hasn't been released yet, has it? At least I haven't seen it, but since I really like the Prada brand, I am very curious about the fragrance. Well, let's see... I hope by the time I test it, the store is empty again, so I can test it in peace :D

Against Weak Moments
I had recently been leaning towards delicate floral to green scents - perhaps because spring is blossoming.
But then I thought of Prada again - a brand that suited my mom well.
She always smelled so elegant and stylish.
And I wanted to emulate her.
So I reached for Femme intense - and this straightforward scent lives up to the addition "intense."
I don't find it sweet - but the tuberose is strong and enchanting.
Ylang is also not holding back - cushioned by patch.
A truly elegant fragrance that radiates confidence - but also conveys it.
Not a scent for every day - but when I need a boost, it is the go-to choice.
Then I gladly take a slice of its confidence.
It is the scent against weak moments.
It would also be suitable for a theater visit, as it remains close to the skin despite its intensity.
Practical, unglamorous clothing is also elevated by it.
Still, I can better imagine it on my stylish mom.

Reduced to the essentials...
Hello everyone,

Today, I would like to share a few words about a very special fragrance at this late hour and one of the "least noticed / subtly underrated fragrances" available for women (personal opinion).

My wife and I are really big fans of "La Femme | Prada," but it has this noticeable sweetness... and that’s not a bad thing, not even close! But there are days when you just have less of a "desire" for something sweet, and exactly this moment occurred a few months ago when my wife and I were looking around here, and I quickly found "La Femme Intense | Prada."

I had briefly smelled it a few years ago, but I only had a vague memory of it, and luckily there was a sample (a very large one) available here in the Souk, which I ordered right away...!

And how did my wife and I find it?

She thinks it’s soooo great that it will soon be joining us when the current bottle runs out (it was a bit more than 9ml back then), but she only wears it once a week (if at all) and very subtly, meaning 2 sprays. I really thought for a while about what it reminded me of...., but more on that in the next point.

How does it smell and what are the differences from the regular La Femme?

The La Femme is bright floral, creamy, with a light + clean bee honey note, with musk = a very nice and great designer fragrance for women, and my honest opinion is that it is one of the top 10 everyday - work fragrances for a woman aged 18 - 65 in the designer category.

The La Femme Intense has less of this floral touch and no sweetness from the honey; rather, it is creamy, unsweetened, very composed, mature, and has certain vibes from the past - which I recognize as an old Chanel lover = I mean those powdery vibes of the old school that have a slightly vintage feel but are 0 bothersome...!

I am a very big fan of this fragrance and can recommend it to women over 30 who are slowly moving away from sweet scents. Because the fragrance is consistent and not playful!

I find the longevity and sillage to be good to very good!

If you find a leftover bottle or a sample here and see yourself reflected in the review, I can only recommend this wonderful fragrance to you!

And now, have a nice day/evening or whenever you read this review, best regards, Benny

Sweet-floral scent with summery flowers
I recently reported on "La Femme | Prada," and now here is my detailed review of this great Intense version. In terms of price, this Intense version is fairly priced, so I can recommend this fragrance with a clear conscience. Also because I had already gifted it myself and it was well received. Especially the old Prada fragrances under Daniela Andrier are, in my opinion, grand for designer standards. You can't go wrong, as the good lady simply knows how to create noble scents. Under L'Oreal and other perfumers, the brand has become significantly more commercial and less loving in my eyes. But fortunately, the older fragrances still exist, like this scent from 2017. Of course, there are clear differences to the original "La Femme | Prada," so it is not just a more intense version as many laypeople might imagine. I like the entire line, and this one goes in a more elegant direction with slightly heavier notes, but not too heavy. Floral notes are, of course, in the foreground, in wonderful harmony with a creamy sweetness. Very ladylike and a great choice for leisure, evening, and also partly for everyday/work.

As mentioned, the price of this fragrance is very fair if you take advantage of offers. Regarding the bottle, there isn't much more to say: Similar to L'Homme, for me, it is one of the best in the designer sector and lives up to the Prada image with this great rough red side that slightly resembles leather. A great piece.
For me, this is significantly less suitable for warmer days than the others in this line. This is due to the slightly cloying-sweet execution for which the tuberose is responsible. Far from being unpleasant, but rather something for milder temperatures or a stylish evening. The scent is dominated by the floral notes of tuberose, ylang-ylang, and frangipani. Jasmine and orange blossom also mix in a bit and add soft floral notes. Tuberose doesn't have the bubblegum notes but is slightly cloying-sweet. Ylang-ylang and frangipani add creamy-tropical notes, which make this creation a bit more summery. A bit of iris also comes in the base and provides subtly powdery-floral notes. Vanilla and patchouli are also in the base, and especially vanilla is present throughout the scent with a sweetness, but not gourmand. Overall, a harmonious construction that feels feminine and sexy.
Performance is not beast mode, but still quite strong with a minimum of 8 hours of longevity and a good sillage as one would expect from tuberose. A great scent that convinces and creates a wonderful balance.

In conclusion, I can say: It's worth it if you like fragrances with many floral notes. Tuberose, ylang-ylang, and frangipani are present, and this is a great flanker that is quite independent. However, there are slight similarities to the original.

A sweet classic feminin fragrance , where the tuberose notes are quite noticeable. But I was expecting more from Prada!

Sensual patchouli garden. The flowers awaken only at midnight, the fairies sparkle in the moonlight. I find it magical.

I find the scent rather business-like and modern. Something for female prosecutors.
