Outside the wind whistles, inside the cat meows
Come to the dark side of the Force, mu ha ha ha ha... oh! Wait! What a bummer... the scent here is called Dark Light and not Dark Side... bummer bummer bummer bummer, all my concept for this comment is gone, great...
Well then... first of all, welcome to my latest comment, which I'll have to improvise today. It's about Prada Olfactories - Dark Light, which I mistakenly read as Dark Side and thought that I could fill you with lots of Star Wars stories again. What I was looking forward to! *sigh*
All right, so Dark Light it is. Dark light... whatever that is. I would only think of black light, which is not the right light to use in the bedrooms of permanent singles like me, if you don't want to discover the many suspicious spots on the floor, walls and even the ceiling... hrrmmm.... D
According to the description, the fragrance is supposed to inspire oriental fantasies (it was clear that belly dancers are now in mind... :D), especially with its resins and warm, soft notes like vanilla. All this sounds like a nice soft and gentle scent, so I could talk about cats again, couldn't I? Hopefully this will bring back all those who were scared off because of my Star Wars mention! Whereby I will probably only mention the cat AFTER the scent description once, hey he he :DD
All right, now for the scent! Br />
Anyway, the Angelica becomes much stronger later on, so that this floral note comes across a bit heavier. Apart from that it remains soft and warm later on as usual. And that's basically it, I think, because the base of the fragrance also smells like a nice mix of vanilla and myrrh.
The bottle! The bottle is rectangular with bevelled edges and has a dark blue hue. The label is shiny gold (or was it metallic instead of a gold-plated sticker? I can't remember, I haven't held the flacons of these fragrances in my hand for a while) and shows the name and brand. The cylindrical cap is gold-plated and covered with leather, which looks noble. A beautiful flacon.
Yes, the fragrance gives a pleasant feeling, even if I wouldn't necessarily describe it as oriental right now. But I have to admit that when I think of oriental scents, I think more of roses, oud and spices, so I don't associate much of the oriental here. But that doesn't really matter, because the important thing is how the scent smells, and this one just smells very nice.
With its soft and warm charisma it is for me an autumn and winter scent, which could be used alone or for nice evenings. In any case it is worth a test. I just think that for a winter scent it could have a slightly higher sillage. But well, sometimes you can't have everything. Nevertheless, as I said, it is worth testing in any case!
And that's it, thanks for reading! I wish you all a nice evening, do something nice (e.g. watching Star Wars :DDD) and see you next time :)

The smell:
The fragrance starts immediately with a rather warm and soft combination of vanilla, amber and the resins, especially myrrh. Basically, the fragrance then stays as described for a while. I would say that you can smell the Angelica a little bit after that, but without the listing in the fragrance list here, I wouldn't necessarily come up with it, but maybe only me, because Angelica is a fragrance that is recognizable but not necessarily present in many fragrances and botanical buffs like me could quickly forget her scent! Anyway, the Angelica becomes much stronger later on, so that this floral note comes across a bit heavier. Apart from that it remains soft and warm later on as usual. And that's basically it, I think, because the base of the fragrance also smells like a nice mix of vanilla and myrrh.
The Sillage and the durability:
The Sillage is just okay, but for a vanilla and resinous scent I find the Sillage rather weak. Which is a pity, because such fragrances are usually worn more in autumn and winter, when the vibrancy can be stronger. Well, in case of need you just spray yourself again. But the durability is good, you can still smell the fragrance on your skin after more than eight hours (weakly). The bottle! The bottle is rectangular with bevelled edges and has a dark blue hue. The label is shiny gold (or was it metallic instead of a gold-plated sticker? I can't remember, I haven't held the flacons of these fragrances in my hand for a while) and shows the name and brand. Conclusion:
Oh, yes, this smell here is very nice. It's really warm and soft, even cuddly and powdery. All these scents with vanilla and the resins seem very soft, beautiful and even calming peaceful. It's almost like a cold winter night, where outside the icy wind would cut your face, but inside you're safe where it's warm and cosy. You look out the window into the dark, deserted night and are happy to be inside where the heating or the fireplace keeps the room warm. A warm blanket, which you usually throw around your shoulders, lies on the bed and has been conquered by the cat, which is just waiting for you to get back into bed so you can cuddle up.
