Quickly now, before everything fades after the zenith
Actually, I don't really like this - but currently, there's no other way. When you get the chance to sniff this relatively new and exclusive fragrance from the Prada Olfactories series, I want to preserve these impressions for other perfume lovers in the form of a comment. Unfortunately, I received neither samples nor a decant for extensive testing, but had to make do with a spritz on my arm to make the best of it. At least it's better than nothing!
Now, let's get to the essentials: Soleil au Zénith is a fine, high-quality almost-gourmand that initially finds its way into the synapses a bit fruity, but at the same time also velvety-creamy. Accompanied by a rather linear progression, spicy notes like nutmeg and cinnamon emerge with a shy peach that timidly casts its shadow and takes its welcome place. Peach often quickly raises suspicions of not being of natural origin. Here, the fruit integrates unobtrusively as a small counterpoint in the composition.
Ylang-Ylang contributes significantly to the floral-sweet orientation, making Soleil au Zénith overall more delicious, but not necessarily more gourmand.
As I write these lines, I perceive the last molecules of this successful fragrance on my arm and must come to an end. The longevity is, of course, longer than the sun can stay at its zenith - and the projection is more than okay. Despite the name, one should not assume it's a summer fragrance, although it would still be quite wearable then.
It should also be noted that given the absolutely high purchase price (I believe I heard something over €200 in the shop), the bottle could be designed to be a bit more stylish and noble. While it is nice to look at and hold, it reminds me enormously of Davidoff's Agar Blend.
Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about.
