Almost niche
Long have I waited to finally test Ralphs Club Elixir, after my free sample of Ralph Lauren unfortunately but did not arrive.
Already the flacon is really a masterpiece. I have even with fragrances beyond the 300 euros still no such noble, high-quality flacon seen and felt. The design is simple, the haptics, however, the madness - finally a high-quality cap that gently opens and closes and a heavy glass torso increase the anticipation.
The fragrance itself is rock solid, does not reinvent the wheel, but fuses it excellently.
A fruity tangerine ensures that the spice blend of cardamom and sage does not immediately invade the nose.
The scent is definitely spicy and not too scarce, with time, however, lavender and iris butter provide a warm, bright effect. No saffron, no hint of the Orient, only autumn-winter romance.
Remotely, the balsamic patchouli base also reminds me of my much-loved Pasha de Cartier, although Ralph's Club is clearly spicier and only later becomes sweeter.
From synthetics is m.M.n nothing to smell, but that probably feels everyone differently.
The durability is above average, the sillage completely o.k. - a purchase recommendation, just because of the great overall package.
