The best blue fragrance so far in designer category

Guys,

let me tell you something. This is serious. Wow. After so many years wearing only niche fragrances, I faced a designer, a blindbought one, that amazed me so much...nevertheless of its synthetic ingredients, it is just amazing, very nice and makes you think immediately that it is summer, holiday, and happyness. The opening will make you smile, it has a nice fruit opening, mango, grapefruit and bergamot. The heart is brief, mostly dominating by cypress, beside clary sage and geranium, which is almost not detectable. As it dries down, you will see that this designer is a serious competitor. Ambroxan is clearly detectable, but it is so well blended with the other notes, that it creates a nice salty fizzy vibe, that makes you think you are on the seaside.

It is a parfum concentration, so the sillage is not a monster but it lasts and lasts a good 8 hours before it turns into a skin scent, and even then it will last a few hours. Definitely a masculine scent but not only for young generation. Compliment magnet.

One of the better blues

I wish I had written this before the release of the new Blue Parfum, because until I'd smelled that, this was my favorite iteration of Polo Blue. That notwithstanding, the addition of mango to this fragrance, along with the crystal fizz accord, along with some of the more woody elements in the base, really make this a great modern interpretation of the original DNA.

You get a great citrus opening that is cooling, and you get a robust base that includes evergreen and woody notes.

Nice masculine aquatic great for summer

Polo Deep Blue Parfum is a really nice, fresh, masculine aquatic. Opening comes across a bit more fruity than citrus-y because of the mango. It's smoother and not biting like a lot of citrus-y fragrances, very pleasant. Deep Blue would really shine on very hot days. Got about 6 hours longevity and average projection, stronger the first hour.

Regarding similar fragrances, I compared Deep Blue directly to Azzaro Chrome Extreme and Azzaro Chome Aqua and can definitely say Deep Blue doesn't smell close to either of them. Deep Blue does, however, smell very similar to Ralph Loren Polo Blue Parfum, especially in the dry down. Polo Blue is only a bit darker and richer than Deep Blue but I still think it would be redundant to own both. Performance for both was about the same for me. You could probably base your decision on price (Deep Blue is cheaper) or which bottle style you like better.

Same, but different.

Let’s get this out of the way. Ralph Lauren Deep Blue Parfum is a blue fragrance. It’s synthetic and has a base that is jam packed full of ambroxan. Smells like sweet and slightly spicy shower gel. With that being said, it SMELLS GOOD. As for blue fragrances go, this is different than fragrances like Sauvage,Dylan Blue, or Bleu de Chanel. Deep Blue has that green mango note that separates it and I really can pick up some salty sea notes in the dry down, especially off of skin. It almost has that sharp chlorinated indoor pool smell, but in a good way.

Not only that, but it lasts quite a long time on clothes and skin. It isn’t a monster projector, but it’s enough to get you noticed for 8+ hours.

It’s definitely the best in the Polo Blue line in my opinion, and for under $60, you can get a big 125ml bottle. Speaking of the bottle, it’s also the best looking bottle in the Polo Blue line as well.

If you are looking for an affordable, mass appealing blue shower gel fragrance, and you don’t want to go the Dylan Blue route like everyone else, this is definitely one to consider.

Green Mango

I love very much the Polo Blue series, I have bought almost all of them, and they all have a very attractive summer scent, satisfying performance, and unparalleled freshness, except Deep Blue.

The scent of green mango here overpowers the rest of the fragrance components in a way that is harmful to the nose and not pleasant.
I don't know who really enjoys the scent of green mango on their skin and clothes?

I bought the fragrance blindly, but I was very lucky that I got a 75ml bottle, not a 125ml bottle, and I had an experience that I will never repeat again.
