Tulips or nulips?
With tulips, of course, one immediately associates the Netherlands. In fragrances, these are surprisingly rare to smell out. This offshoot of the Amsterdam Collection carries its name but rightly - at least as far as the said Tulip is concerned. The fizzing Yuzu comes namely unfortunately extremely short.
"Tulip & Japanese Yuzu" is a creamy floral from Rituals, which really hurts no one. But also no one behind'm stove hervorlockt. More of a body mist, scented candle, room freshener than a real perfume. But that's the case with many Rituals. Delicate, tulpy, humanizing. Friendly and sunny. Yet a wallflower. Olfactorily speaking. The zing and tingle of yuzu is hugely lacking. More European bland than the land of the rising sun. A bit lame. Very tame. A very folksy, run-of-the-mill scent.
