Dark coffee with smooth oud

The opening smells like fresh, bitter espresso and very deep. The oud in the background is smooth, not sharp. It feels rich and bold, especially suited for cooler days. There is also a soft warmth, maybe a light spice or gentle sweetness, but it never turns into a sugary gourmand. The balance is done very well.

Coffee and Aoud…

Espresso Aoud is a fragrance that immediately creates a very warm and dark atmosphere. From the first spray, the intense coffee note stands out, which feels surprisingly authentic - almost as if you were smelling a freshly brewed espresso. This bitterness is quickly balanced by a pleasant sweetness and warm oriental accords.

As it develops further, the typical Roja Oud emerges. However, here it appears more elegant and soft than animalistic, harmoniously blending with the gourmand coffee facets. This creates a scent that is simultaneously deep, creamy, and slightly sweet.

Especially in the drydown, a very pleasant combination of warm resins, wood, and the lingering coffee note unfolds. The fragrance remains present on the skin for a long time, exuding a very high-quality and luxurious feel.

Okay, this one really stands out

After a long time, Roja has finally launched a proper fragrance. Beautifully pleasant and hardly animalistic. A superb fusion of coffee and OUD, if there is even OUD in it. Anyone who thinks they are getting a classic coffee scent is really mistaken... it does it completely differently and better than other coffee fragrances. I can only recommend it.
