Gorgeous Oud parfum

I love love love perfumes with oud. It has now become a frenzy amongst perfumers to use oud in literally most of their perfumes. Alshain starts off with beautiful note and ends with gorgeous dry down that lasts well into next day. I live in London hence I was able to get it from Harrods where this perfume is exclusive to Harrods only, but I am sure one can get directly from Terenzi in Italy or even from Harrods as they offer international shipping. Any oud lovers out there, this is a must if you can get your hands on it.

Shower gel was yesterday…

…today, you smell like shampoo.
Right off the bat: I have never smelled anything like this before!
As already hinted in the title, there are countless fragrances that smell like shower gel, and most of them are solid representatives of their kind.
However, here Terenzi takes a, at least for me, new approach. And even if it’s only a slightly shorter path to reach for shampoo instead of shower gel, the olfactory distance could hardly be greater! For instead of solid and "just-no-experiments," we transition here to a rapidly changing fragrance experience.

At the beginning, there’s a gummy sweet-freshness. As indicated in the fragrance pyramid, the fresh notes of the top note.
And even though the base from the fragrance pyramid suggests a floral bouquet, it reminds me more of a fruit basket!

In the drydown, finally, the already mentioned shampoo vibes!
An effect that musk often evokes. The oud provides the scalp note under the shampoo. And even though it becomes slightly animalistic because of this, it still remains fresh-fruity-lightly sweet-shampoo-like. Perhaps that’s also why it’s a rather feminine scent.
I will still keep it for now; as the fragrance DNA is absolute new territory for my nose.
