Disappointment
My first comment on Parfumo goes to Mystery Tobacco. Thanks to Yirmiiki for the small filling!
When I smelled it on the test strip, I was blown away. Great expectations built up because I thought I had found a new Beastmode perfume. My expectations were then but absolutely disappointed when tested on the skin.
Smell-wise in the same drawer as PdM Carlisle (2015), Mancera Red Tobacco (2017)and Argos Triumph of Bacchus (2019). Definitely my drawer, according to this.
Which of the aforementioned MT is most similar to, I can't say right now because the others aren't available to me here right now. Since both Carlisle and MT were created by Quentin Bisch, however, it's safe to assume that Carlisle was the godfather here.
Fruity opening, then develops spicy-sweet-oriental and becomes woody towards the end. Top and heart notes very nice, base also very pleasant but unspectacular.
Unfortunately, I am not someone who can perceive every single ingredient. I thought the woody Dd was due to sandalwood, but according to the ingredients it is supposed to be guaiac wood. Contrary to some other opinions, I am but sure to smell out tobacco.
Overall, a good fragrance, however, the pyramid, on my skin, lived through within an hour and offers a subterranean performance of about 30 minutes. Sillage accordingly, durability afterwards as Skinscent with 7-8h neat. In my opinion, unisex with masculine tendency. I have tested the fragrance at temperatures around 20 ° C, maybe the performance will be better in winter, hope dies last.
Conclusion: smells good in any case, in the performance but unfortunately grottiges PL ratio. A too much tamed interpretation of Carlisle, which can not be recommended at this price
