Click Song Une Nuit Nomade 2021

I have always wanted to go to South Africa, and since that is not so easily possible at the moment, I decided on a mental journey: literarily with Zakes Mda, musically with Miriam Makeba, and olfactorily with "Click Song".
The latter is sung at weddings to wish the couple happiness. The content primarily revolves around a beetle that makes click sounds and, of course, has symbolic meaning. If the eponymous perfume is to be worn at weddings, then only by a bride who also enjoys being in the spotlight outside of the wedding. The sillage lasts for a very long time, at least for me, quite well.
I have to search for the bergamot; the rose is clearly in the foreground. Loud and spicy. I like roses, I like rose scents, I like spices. I also like this rose, aside from a small but penetrating detail. Here it comes with a sour undertone. Maybe it's the patchouli, although I have smelled that softer and better before. The sour aftertaste fades only very slowly, unfortunately. The rose underneath only fully reveals its unbothered splendor after about 4 hours. From then on, I also prefer to sniff at my wrist again.
Fortunately, the scent lasts a whole day (in my case, 11 hours). This allows me to warm up to Click Song a little more. Especially because in the last hours, an incredibly beautiful, woody vanilla takes over. If the fragrance were only made up of the base note, I would bathe in it (a little tip for vanilla lovers).
The limitation to female wearers in my little review is intentional. I can't really imagine "Click Song" on men. However, feel free to enlighten me otherwise; I am usually not narrow-minded.
For my mental journey, the scent fits quite well. I will not add it to my collection. But it is definitely worth a test!

Oh, I am so blitzed in love! Fortunately, I got the discovery set from Une Nuit Nomade and I can't stop marveling. I love this creativity in the execution of this fragrance house. I already know that three more scents from this line will make it into my perfume collection.
First of all: One must love 1. rose and 2. patchouli to find happiness here. Right from the start, you encounter a slightly sharp geranium. Once you get past that, a well-balanced blend of dark yet powdery, soft rose, creamy-soft patchouli, and in the drydown, a rounded amber-benzoin mix with a hint of unsweetened vanilla reveals itself. This scent becomes so beautiful and balanced after about 15 minutes; I can hardly understand the low rating. In conclusion: A great unisex fragrance as an evening companion or for occasions when you want to feel particularly special, grounded, and enveloped.

By now, we know countless rosewood scents, but I have never smelled one like Click Song before. This fragrance is definitely not for those who prefer light perfumes. On me, this beautiful blend of rose-vanilla-cedar lasts at least 8-9 hours on the skin and radiates quite strongly almost until the end. I can recommend it to anyone who prefers oriental and potent scents.

The fragrance develops a lively personality after application, likely due to its complexity. Once the patchouli has faded a bit, it envelops you in a warm-spicy cloak with rose absolute, which integrates very snugly into the spicy-sweet notes. As an amber scent, it is unique and something for the more discerning nose that is not afraid to stand out and does not wish to go unnoticed.

At first, I couldn't quite figure out what this was supposed to be. Somehow heavier, yet still fresh, resinous, spicy. Then it becomes softer and the rose comes through more and more, and the scent becomes a bit lighter. A spicy rose with vanilla resin emerges. There's also an oriental touch, but the patchouli is not too overpowering. In between, there's always a bit of freshness, a hint of eucalyptus that clears the nose. I really find the scent wonderful and extraordinary! I can't stop smelling it.
More suited for autumn/winter, definitely unisex.
