Where does this wonderful freshness come from at "Room Service"?
This scent reminds of fluffy towels, dried in wind and sun and therefore soft and absorbent.
A piece of luxury of fragrant cleanliness that I like to surround myself with.
Blackberries contribute their slightly earthy-dark aroma at the beginning; the mandarin is juicy and fresh here, without its repeatedly criticised light synthetic touch.
The orchid in pink is not as powerfully sweet and heavy as many of its sisters; this is very pleasant; so it does not dominate.
Rather, it underlines the always somewhat old-fashioned naturalness of the violet.
Violet fragrance is for me not only a spring announcement; it also evokes the image of large dressing Florentine hats with long ribbons and these bouquets of violets in front of the inner eye - and of course pure sunshine.
So far it is a light, fine fruity-floral being that develops on my skin.
Probably bamboo, so refreshingly bitter, green and alive, like a small stream jumping over small stones, is the secret of this fragrance pleasure.
The deep, sensual amber note goes surprisingly well with this light-footed, friendly "little water"; it should be like this, nothing is crushed or plays itself into the foreground.
Already now a discreetly tuned small orchestra sounds, which gives pleasure to the senses.
Sandalwood, as a good and welcome friend of mine, harmoniously accompanies the development of fragrance.
And even musk, sometimes felt to be the downfall of many fragrance creations, has been dosed here with a lot of empathy: as a pleasant nuance that turns out to be an additional stabilizer of this airy fragrance fabric in the base.
It succeeds wonderfully to compose a finely tuned symphony from these differently fruity, flowery and slightly erotic components, which does not become boring.
"Of course "Room Service" is neither powerful nor long lasting, but still a nice surprise.
The bottle with its stylized waves - that's how I see it - harmoniously underlines the content I experienced.
Once again, hair is an excellent fragrance carrier.
A few splashes of "Room Service" spread an exhilaration reminiscent of a light summer breeze.
So I meet a fragrance which is not a "must" on the big market of fragrances, but a nice change and therefore already has its right to exist.
If this "Room Service" would bring me these fragrantly fresh towels twice a day - that would be fine!
