Soap + Curry?
Smells like soapy curry at first. People calling this an insufferable tuberose, and I am agreeing. I feel like im being suffocated by florals. I could see how people would like this, but for me, absouletly not and these notes listed are deciving imo.Smells a bit vintage and mature, I don’t really love this and wouldn’t see myself reaching for it.

sugar high floral
I promised I’d never blind buy, but the description of Moon Carnival as Galadriel’s signature scent was enough for me to plunge. (And, let’s be real: this is one of THE SICKEST perfume names). Unfortunately, it was a swift return. If Moon Carnival is Galadriel, then it’s a Bratz doll elf babe. The first five minutes are cursive all-caps tuberose – pure nails on chalkboard to my nose. She's truly screechy, like a cockatoo. A big, frilly airbrushed flower; an overexposed tropical beach scene. Fortunately, she twitters into a mellower, mallower creature in the drydown. Imagine Bratz Galadriel stirring a jungle-juice punchbowl of rainbow sherbet marshmallows, vanilla flavouring, fondant orchids, and the syrup that they can mandarin oranges in. She’s posher than your average Victoria’s Secret body mist, true, but she’s still wearing a white velour tracksuit and rhinestone flip-flops. I know dozens of girls that would die for this scent, but I'm afraid I'm not in the clique.

Mental Snapshot: Lisa Frank Lothlórien. Beaded curtains made of glass-candy jasmine. Spun sugar spiral staircases. Frodo has frosted tips and a single pearl-drop earring. Shadowfax with a crimped mane and rainbow pegasus wings. The One Ring is an ecstacy-spiked Ring Pop.

tl;dr: McBling of the Rings

Solid White Floral
This is a good and safe white floral for someone who is trying them out for the first time but it was kinda disappointing for someone like me who is passionate about white florals. This scent opens strong with the freesia and a citrus. Usually bergamot can be strong and overpowering, but this was just enough bergamot to keep the floral from entering cloying or grandma territory. They balance each other out. The middle notes, the tuberose is the one I kinda pick out but mostly I am just getting lush white floral variety. For the dry down, I get a sweet musky scent. I don't get marshmallow specifically, its more like some sugar sprinkled on musk. Hint of vanilla. But its not a gourmand. The scent stays soft and light throughout. The projection is good for the first hour or two but then it becomes more of a skin scent. I lasted on my skin for about 4 hours.

Too Floral for a Gourmand Girlie
I blind bought this fragrance last week because I am a gourmand girlie with few florals. The base captivated me—vanilla, tonka bean, and marshmallow! I had to get it. I was so excited when it arrived today. It was pretty upon initial spray—fresh and sweet. BUT, the mid was horrific to me. It was too floral. It was like I was hugging my grandma (RIP) at a garden party. It’s a very realistic floral concoction, but I am NOT a white floral girl. I’m very particular when it comes to florals. It must be sweet, fruity, and/or fresh. This wasn’t it. It was like a vase with tuberose was sitting in a poorly ventilated room for a week. However, the base was very nice and sweet. It just wasn’t worth keeping in my collection because the longevity was questionable and the middle notes were unbearable. It’s a very complex fragrance. I appreciated the journey it took me through. I never had that experience. I have ordered Dear Polly to see if I get to experience a more palatable journey. I love a good tea note!

What Carnival resembles this?
WHOA!!!!! I am not one to say rather a fragrance is for men/women. Hell, I wear everything marketed underneath the sun.... But this here at least to my nose & on my skin is for the ladies. First spray I am assaulted with florals... Freesia, Tuberose & Gardenia! Freesia & Gardenia are the two strongest florals I smell. And to be honest, I can stomach freesia to a certain extent depending on what other notes it is mixed with, but that gardenia??? NO THANK YOU! That is one of thee worst florals to my nose. I do not like the smell of it whatsoever... And in this particular fragrance, it is trying to take first place. It literally makes me want to gag... I do not get any orchid, a flower which I love though I am sure it would not matter because it would have been buried under the gardenia & freesia.

I get a pinch of bergamot underneath the florals but it is not helping whatsoever. The dry down is suppose to have vanilla, tonka & marshmallow?? Not on my skin... This is a straight up floral BOMB from start to finish. If you are not into florals & especially these particular florals, you may want to avoid. Your skin may pick up other notes that mine does not.

I wonder what made them come up with the name Moon Carnival? To me, this smell does not resemble a carnival rather it be by moon nor sun. This is a big NO NO for me...

Moon Carnival means floral-sweet with fruity and sugary notes.
The combination of tuberose and gardenia can quickly become overwhelming.

Very dominant gardenia, often making me feel sad. The tuberose doesn’t save it. Everything else is pushed away.

Finally, a tuberose scent where the tuberose is gentle. Floral-sweet like a sultry summer evening. Colorful like a Woodstock shirt.

Carnival in Trinidad. Full moon. Tropical humidity. The ladies in cream dance in a sea of white flowers. Fruity sprinkles refresh. Too sweet for me.

It couldn't take long for someone to combine the bubblegum twist of tuberose with a big cotton candy accent: But it works pretty well!

I'm a declared tuberose fan. But this - such intense artificiality - is something else. Sweet eeriness like no other!

A decent tuberose-gardenia scent with a creamy-sweet vibe. Overall, it feels familiar and not very innovative. Leaves me cold.

For lovers of tuberose, a really lovely scent that isn’t too sweet at the base. 200 euros is definitely too much, but it’s quite beautiful.

A flower bed sends its regards, tuberose embraces gardenia, freesia.
Later comes a hint of vanilla.
Very soft, creamy scent.
Perfect for summer.
