My Milkshake...

Actually, I don't like shopping malls. But you know those big, airy ones with quiet music and few people, all relaxed? Where they have ice cream and waffles and, yes, milkshakes.

Spraying it on, I take a big sip of one of those milkshakes. Tropical fruity, I'm thinking mango, but it'll probably be dragon fruit. And a big helping of vanilla.
With my huge cup in my hand, I stroll around like this. Attached to the rim is a large white flower, the scent of which hits my nose with every sip. Orange blossom, mixed with something else.
I pass a perfumery, from which comes that sweet, heavy whiff we all know. But I don't go in, just take some floral and musk. On the other side of the aisle is a café, from which it also smells.
Nice, I think to myself, and stroll on, with a last bit of milkshake in my hand.

I don't like coffee, I don't like shopping malls. But I really like this scent. It's not that different from the original for me. Vanilla, orange blossom, and what must be coffee. This one is fruitier, especially in the beginning. And lasts less long

A little bouquet of flowers at Starbucks....

Hmmm... A small tester get and I must say. Nothing for me but also not bad. I'm not a YSL fan but this fragrance is at least a bit interesting although the super artificial, almost synthetic looks..

I smell first coffee. Not as present as Montale Intense Café but still quite perceptible. In addition, there are a lot of fruity and floral notes that I can not really separate....

Quite wearable and not bad but for me too mainstream and not exciting enough.... As an alternative to the normal Black Opium, who loves and likes to wear, the fragrance is definitely recommended....

Dancing in the New Jungle

In the old days, it was proper to study in Berlin.

The city was political - meaning there were many demos - and it had no curfew - meaning you could go out around the clock, but this was somewhat in the way of intensive studying.

I visited my migrated clique but only on weekends - otherwise I was rather " deep in the West, where the sun dusts " - as Herbie Bochum so aptly sings.
My excursions to Berlin were enough for me.

And so it happened that we ended up there in the hip disco : New jungle ".
A punk shed I was curious about.

We paid our entrance fee to colourful haired mohawks - and found ourselves in a glistening bright room with lots of colourful people dancing with sunglasses on their noses.
Neon lights have not been spared in this establishment.

I was a bit startled at the brightness, as I was expecting the usual disco dim lighting.
But this open-plan office atmosphere had something - a completely different intimacy, because you could look your counterpart up to the pupils.
Ruthless and real.
Plus the music of The Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones etc...

Black Opium Neon would have fitted in very well with its open artificiality - precisely because of its likeable non-conformity.
Colorful gummy bears tumble through each other - doused with vanilla and coffee.
Petals float above intermixed with wood shavings.
Anarchy in the U.K.
I can't help it - I have to dance.

Artificial but I like it

Immediately after application I smell artificial blueberry (or dragon fruit for that matter). Afterwards the fragrance is like the Opium Original for me, but without vanilla, but with lots of sweet fruit. I still like Black Opium Intense by far the best, but this scent here is very special and for me it's more of a unique scent than a BO version. It is youthful, playful, pungent yes, through the artificial fruit, but it doesn't go to my head, which is not a matter of course with such a sweet scent
