Myslf Yves Saint Laurent 2026 Eau de Toilette Intense

This stuff smells like you stepped out of the most angelic and heavenly shower.
In my short life I haven’t smelled a scent that perfectly captures the words “clean, fresh, and classy.” I tried the edp and it was kind of mediocre to me. I also tried the absolu and it was the same, but just with ginger in the opening. This one was what I thought the edp would be. I love it. Probably one of the most easy to like fragrances you can get. It opens much fresher, lighter, and with a more smooth citrus than the others I feel like. The dry down is similar to the edp but i still like this one more. Performance is mediocre, as expected, but better than most EDT’s. Where this really shines is in the air. Walking by anyone close, this smells so good it’s almost like you are leaving a trail of glitter.
Im kind of rambling here but obviously I just like this stuff a lot.

MYSLF Intense is the first from YSL to bring in former Prada house perfumer Daniela Andrier as the sole perfumer.

Intense seems like an amalgamation / greatest hits collections of some of Andrier’s earlier works topped off with whatever she added to the original MYSLF (bergamot).

MYSLF Intense opens very similar with bergamont to MYSLF EdP and there is a hint of neroli for the first 10-15 minutes. As the bergamot fades the orange blossom takes over and the white musk starts to appear.

This stage is very reminiscent of Zadig and Voltaire’s This is Him Undressed with its salty skin accord. There is also a hint of Daniela’s mentor Jacques Polge from Allure Homme Sport.

Finally the warm woods from Prada L’homme come in and this continues with the white musk for another 6-8 hours.

MYSLF Intense will remind of you many other scents from the last 20 years or so, which isn’t a bad thing at all. Most notably, This is Him Undressed, Allure Homme Sport, Prada L’homme and of course the original MYSLF.

You will experience most of this scent with the subtle dry down of both Prada L’homme mixed with the dry down of This is Him Undressed and a sprinkle of MYSLF Orange blossom.

It’s very pleasant like I said and performs well. Aside from MYSLF l’Absolu it’s the most interesting from the MYSLF line and for the sure most versatile.

Expect the next MYSLF to be a greatest hits version of Andrier’s darker / night time scents. I for one am excited to see what she combines Luna Rossa Black with.

MYSLF Intense is going to sell well, it’s so inoffensive, mass appealing and versatile I’m sure we will get a second volume.

First of all, I really like the DNA of Myslf, but I have always been bothered by small points of criticism, such as synthetic notes or being too cloying. From my perspective, the new Myslf Eau De Toilette Intense is a great addition.

Now, let's talk about the scent:

The fragrance starts off noticeably fresher than the other flankers. Right at the beginning, a really pleasant orange blossom comes through, which clearly dominates the scent.
And where the others were too cloying for me, this one is more balanced and avoids overloaded synthetics.

Over time, it becomes a bit spicier and gains a slightly earthy note from the patchouli. In the drydown, it becomes musky, while the orange blossom remains well perceptible in the background the whole time.

Overall, it's a nice everyday scent that will resonate well in the mainstream and, of course, will find its critics, but I have been wearing it quite regularly and enjoy it.

Longevity may be improvable, but the sillage is satisfactory, and you will be noticed.

Here is an absolute no-brainer fragrance that has emerged. Tending to be more of a masculine scent.
Ideal for summer and/or sports.

Scent: 9/10
This fresh EdT fragrance impresses with fresh bergamot and lemon notes.
In addition, a zesty orange unfolds, along with clean musk and subtle woody notes.

Longevity: 7/10
This fresh designer fragrance has very good longevity, which some fresh niche fragrances could learn from.

Conclusion:
This YSL fragrance is perfect for summer. An absolute all-day scent that can be worn effortlessly by anyone.

In my opinion, the best release of this year so far from YSL. The scent is citrusy and clean. The bergamot plays the most important role in this fragrance, and later it becomes a bit greener due to patchouli. The scent is simply relaxed and enjoyable for those around you. I describe this fragrance as an expensive citrus soap, but in a good way. The scent later becomes more floral, thanks to jasmine, and sweeter due to musk.

I recommend it to people looking for a relaxed, fresh scent for everyday wear.
