Incense and Rum Cocktails
Spraying a bit bright with notes of citrus and rum, this fragrance is undoubtedly a cedarwood and patchouli dominated fragrance. Think sipping a citrusy, rum cocktail in a room with burning incense. I'll note this is not the thick, perfumed smell most might think of with incense, but instead the delicate, natural aroma of Japanese incense. After the first hour or two, this fragrance is largely incense and vanilla. Towards the end of its life, this is a sweet, clean, musky incense smell. I do wish the citrus and fruit were more dominant at the open, but unfortunately the incense overpowers them.
As for longevity, Adi ale Van fragrances tend to last incredibly long, and this is no different. Projection is moderate, dimming to an intimate, skin scent after 6-8 hours. However, once it reaches this point, it seems eternal. Even 24 hours later, I can still smell this on my skin when I bring my wrist up to my nose (and this was from a single spray!). While Adi ale Van bottles are a bit expensive, the power behind them significantly changes the value.
