Bright Earth
Adi ale Van fragrances are something else, familiar yet totally different, and the Summer of 83 is no exception. The base here is earthy, woody, and smoky with mushrooms at the front followed up by notes of tobacco, patchouli, and soil. However, while that is all present, this doesn't read that way. There's this citric brightness that shines over that, leaving something almost refreshingly earthy? It's familiar at the first few sniffs, but past that it becomes increasingly foreign.
While this doesn't smell like a summer I know, this is an artistic scent. It's a bright summer day in a deep forest with grapefruit juice to quench your thirst. I'm not sure if this is a scent I'd wear, but it's fascinating and certainly deserving of an experience. As usual, the bottle is gorgeous and the longevity is solid, although a bit less some of their other perfumes.
