Savory Gourmand Oud

This perfume is an extremely approachable introduction to oud because it is not animalic and although smoky and masculine leaning, it does have some feminine floral facets. To my nose, it has a gourmand aspect because it translates smokey, like the interior of a clay oven heated by wood. In this sense, it has a bit of a quiet vibe of Indian food. The appearance of the rose in dry-down starts to make it softer, a bit more feminine. Not my cup of tea, but not a bad oud perfume all in all.

Oud Abramad este o recomandare pentru cei care vor să încerce apa cu degetul: dacă ești curios(oasă) despre oud, dar te simți intimidat(ă), amestecul acesta este un safe introduction pentru că nu este foarte animalic ca multe alte combinații cu oud.

Deschiderea mă duce cu gândul la bucătăria Indiană din Kashmir. Acolo erau multe mici locale cu cuptoare de lut, încinse cu lemne, în care se găteau tot felul de bunătăți cu șofran și ghimbir. Simți lemnul încins în flăcări și mirodeniile din bucate. Este o senzație uscată, fierbinte, întărită de apariția fumului. După 20-30 de minute un trandafir fumuriu, tămâios, începe să își facă prezența simțită din ce în ce mai mult.

Este un parfum cu oud foarte abordabil, unul dintre favoritele mele. Persistența este enormă, 10 ore+ pe piele, și deși are o înclinare masculină, eu cred că și o femeie amatoare oud se poate bucura de el.

PS- Pentru noi fetele, este nemaipomenit pentru layering cu parfumuri mai dulcici-fructate. Combinatia mea favorita este cu Signorina In Fiore. Ii da o adancime foarte interesanta.

Dark and woody, but really wearable oud

A well-balanced fragrance, intended for oud lovers who are not so keen to be living on the edge. An elegant agarwood accord, which has thoroughly cleaned out its stable before showing itself in public, ultra-woody and almost black, heavily smoky, slightly medicinal at times.

I don't smell cumin, at least not that body odor for which it's famous, and saffron is responsible, I think, for the herbal whiff - I associate saffron with the smell of marigold, probably because of the fakes in the spice sets bought in various Turkish bazaars.

The rose is more of an impression, and the castoreum non-existent, though I somewhat preceive an illusion of leatheriness, which I attribute to the patchouli-cistus team, however.

Perhaps rather masculine but wearable by anyone, perhaps mainstream rather than niche, but that's no bad thing. It doesn't excel in terms of longevity and projection, but it's not fleeting either. Nice!

Great quality but unfortunately not my scent

Somehow Oud Abramad is not my kind of fragrance. The perfume is actually supposed to be unisex, but in my opinion it's more masculine (but of course everyone can wear it however they like).

Personally, Oud Abramad is a little too animalic for me and the castoreum is very prominent in the fragrance, which makes it a little too much for me. In addition to the animal notes, there is also patchouli, incense, oud, saffron and rose and this mixture is difficult for my nose.

The longevity and sillage are extremely good here and you really can't say anything negative about the quality of the perfume. Unfortunately, however, I don't like the character of the fragrance at all and so my little sample has to move on straight away.

Seductive oud fragrance

This initially animalic fragrance seems to keep the other person at a distance, but this changes after a few minutes. This initially very animalistic fragrance quickly becomes cuddly and initially also slightly fresh due to the ginger. This is soon joined by other spicy notes such as cumin and saffron. The interplay is definitely successful, as the saffron has a slightly sterile touch, but this is perfectly complemented by the cumin and its spicy properties. There are also some slight associations with old books, which can certainly be attributed to the oud. The rose is very restrained, which is why I would call it an oud rather than a rose oud fragrance. And even if the animalic notes fade at the beginning, they come back later in a very subtle and seductive way. It is therefore an oud fragrance that you can wear on a date with a clear conscience without fear of scaring off the other person, as can be the case with some others. However, I would recommend allowing 20 minutes to pass before going there, as I have already been asked what kind of "oriental mock" I am wearing after fresh application. It is definitely comparable to Armani Cuir Royal.
