Beautiful bubblegum tuberose
TI is a beautiful and easy to love, sweet and creamy tuberose scent. I feel like even those who absolutely detest the scent of tuberose would be able to appreciate and wear this.

With the addition of the vanilla and benzoin in the base, this fragrance has a beautiful, smooth, delicious ambery vibe to it that just elevates the tuberose. It’s not your average bubblegum candied tuberose scent, it’s definitely got some depth to it. From first spray, the tuberose comes through with some aromatics and with the support of a bright ylang ylang, powdery iris, and slightly indolic jasmine. They never take away from the tuberose though, and as the it dries down, that vanilla really comes all the way forward and adds a deep sexiness to the overall vibe of the fragrance. I don’t get heavy doses of the sandalwood or patchouli, but I feel they are just the perfect touch of woodiness to a mostly sweet, white floral fragrance. It’s really really REALLY nice. I wore my sample the other day and was getting glorious whiffs of it as I went around. My boyfriend really enjoyed the scent as well and kept his nose buried in my hair lol. I mainly wear my perfumes for myself, but it’s always a plus when my love also likes them too.

Girly, flirty tuberose
The tuberose here is pleasant, girly, a state of matter somewhere between powder and cream. However, from that price tag I expect more. Personally, I don't care for tuberose in large doses. Here, the concentration of tuberose is good, and the pairing with jasmine and ylang and ylang is ideal. My issue, and this is my pet peeve with a lot of BDK perfumes, is with the base notes. This is an expensive niche perfume, but when the base notes break through, it smells pretty average, like a lot of other vanilla-dominant perfumes that cost a lot less. I recognize that resinous vanilla-santal combo from a lot of other perfumes less pretentious or expensive.

It's a decent enough tuberose, but I wouldn't bother purchasing it when I know there are other amazing tuberose perfumes out there, like my first tuberose crush, Luci ed Ombre (Masque Milano). The tuberose in Luci ed Ombre is like a sexy Old Holywood blonde starlette, posing in the stage lights. Compared to Luci ed Ombre, Tubereuse Imperiale is like the fan girl backstage who came to the movie premiere, hoping to meet and possibly get the star's autograph.

A flag of peace and reconciliation (white flag) from the bottle.
I personally am not a big fan of floral fragrances for men and I find them more feminine.
But this fragrance does not have the sweetness of feminine floral fragrances and I get a relaxing floral scent from this fragrance.

It feels like that you are spraying a flag of peace and reconciliation (white flag) from the bottle onto your body. I think this fragrance can be very effective for times when you are stressed and feeling negative, and this perfume make you get calming fast.

An interesting use that I found for this fragrance is when sleeping. You just need to spray 2 puffs of this fragrance on your neck or on your pillow and then you will fall asleep peacefully.

Super feminine.
Tubereuse Imperiale is a fragrance that requires a bit of patience. Something is missing to make the scent truly interesting.. If it's tuberose, which is rare for me, it needs to really pop, something like bubblegum at its finest, which is not the case here. Chic but also a bit dull..

Right after spraying, it smells quite generic. One of those fragrances that you feel like you've smelled a thousand times elsewhere.. A bit sharp in the nose. Tuberose, rose geranium, and ylang-ylang - the usual mix..? In the dry down, however, the scent becomes softer and noticeably more interesting. A hint of incense beautifully and uniquely blends with the vanilla and a touch of pepper, with the tuberose being the absolute star of the show.. For some reason, the pepper only comes through very faintly in the dry down for me... The scent becomes almost creamy in the end and very, very feminine and elegant.. Still, it is quite generic, which doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. Not everyone wants something super extravagant..
Longevity is quite okay, sillage is too weak for my nose, but it still makes it onto my wish list..

I could bathe in it
The first time I smelled Tubéreuse Impériale was in the city of scents, right in Paris. And it didn't leave my mind. In fact, my skin seems to get along well with BDK fragrances. That's why several have already made it into my collection.
But how does the scent actually smell?
I find this tuberose exceptionally pleasing. Sure, it is very agreeable, having quickly won my heart, but I don't find that any less interesting. At the top, it presents itself quite differently depending on the day.
Just today, I detected a light, non-acidic lemon, no idea where it came from, as the pyramid doesn't reveal it. On most days, however, I immediately sense a lovely, slightly green tuberose. It is not bubblegummy but beautifully floral. Slightly sweet but definitely not sticky sweet, as a bit of green always shines through. That's exactly what I find exceptionally nice.
As the drydown progresses, ylang-ylang joins the tuberose, and it becomes tropical, reminiscent of sunscreen. That's also what those around me pick up. I find the color of the juice very fitting for this reason.
The scent is very present without being overpowering and lasts surprisingly long. With four sprays in the morning, I can still smell it well in the evening. This tuberose never becomes too much for me, and I feel feminine and well-groomed with it. It works perfectly with just a T-shirt and jeans during the day but also dressed up for dinner.

Too much vanilla for me; it clashes with the tuberose for me.

Sweet, creamy tuberose with touches of jasmine and ylang-ylang over sandalwood; the tuberose is soft, feminine, and delicate, not predatory.

Intense florals with a subtle sweet touch on top that dissipates as the fragrance dries down. Can be a good everyday if you like florals.

Lovely tuberose, very similar to Penhaligon's Helen but without the citrus and more resinous

I think if you like tuberose you might like this. I think I don’t really like it though. Sweet in a bad way

You need a preference for heavy floral scents here. Tuberose and Ylang Ylang set the tone on a sweet-resinous base. It's something.

Fear opponent Tuberose, I concede defeat.
Wonderful opulent-sweet floral splendor that celebrates femininity.
A delight.

Tuberose and jasmine are competing here. Two beautiful floral notes dosed with a shovel instead of a dropper.
