EO N1
This is an amazing perfume with the best real Oud, classic, leathery and very weareable. It opens up with musky notes, lavender and nutmeg. As it starts to dry down taif roses grow up beside jasmine notes, both spinning around a base of Wild Aged Manipur Oud. As time passes, a leathery smell comes up quite slowly turning into a smoth and lovely scent. Unisex, classic and complex perfume with moderate sillage and longevity.

Once upon a time not so long ago
Ziiiiiibi and Bibiiiiii got lost in the Oud forest.
It was so rosewood dark and also so amber resin bitter cold. They came across a sandalwood house made of nutmeg and fine gingerbread.
Who might the lord of this house be?
And that is dear Uncle Homeros who accidentally landed in the Scheria in the Eaglewood forest and is waiting for help; he can't manage to rebuild the ship on his own.
But Civet and Beaver are helping energetically.
-----------------------------------------
What a beautiful start: light citrus and rich oud enveloped in juicy rose jam and cuddly musk balm.
Lavender warm and lightly spiced with nutmeg doesn't stay long; incense and amber dig through and bring Homeros his old weathered ship into play. Beaver leather and civet cream envelop the painting, a lot of wood and a lot of amber, the roses fade into the background and a soft heart of indolic jasmine slightly softens the wood. Deep, dark, and damp ship planks connect with mineral amber, not fresh but rather herbal and bitter; the sandalwood only comes in at the very end, soft, warm, delicate with brown tobacco leaf. In the meantime, the ship is ready for action again.
And Homeros says goodbye to Beaver with a firm handshake
and gives Civet a paw kiss.
I like it a lot; it's somehow 2 or 3 scents combined in one, nothing new but beautiful. I would love to check out the PP sometime.
Thank you to Schoeibksr for the testing opportunity :)

For those who don't want mainstream leather/Oud
When you read through the notes, there seems to be nothing extraordinary about it at all. The No.1 from EnsarOud is also not that popular, especially when considering the Parfumo statistics. And in terms of price, it ranks among the higher tiers of what is today referred to as "Niche" and "Luxury." Now, of course, the question arises: "Is the investment worth it?" You could just as well buy something from Roja or Creed. You know them; many seem to like them at least; and for some, it has even become a status symbol. To each their own! One could debate for a long time about the subjective opinions regarding the price-quality ratio. But Oud is not just Oud. Here, we are not talking about Oud à la TF Oud Wood. The same goes for the other raw materials. Additionally, one does not know how much of one or the other raw material was used and what quality they were. With this premise in mind, I opted for a little fragrance adventure.

And now for the description:
In the opening, you are greeted by a very tolerable animalic note, likely provided by castoreum (not mentioned here), and a sweet resin. It is very inviting and warm, yet dark at the same time. One could imagine a piece of coarse, brown leather. Slowly, the fragrance transitions into the next phase, which makes it a bit softer and more refined. This effect could be due to the floral notes and the civet (Absolute?). However, it is not a floral scent in the conventional sense (those who enjoy "Mysterious Oud" by Bortnikoff will be able to endure this phase quite well). It remains beautifully dark and alluring. You can recognize the interplay of animalic notes, resins, and tame flowers here. The fragile heart of the fragrance is enveloped by the Oud. And (after several hours), you reach the long-awaited base. The leather takes a back seat as the fine, sweet incense takes its place. The woods and mossy notes are only there to support. The base itself could become a standalone fragrance!

Of course, this is a strong simplification of the experience. Nevertheless, for me, my aforementioned rhetorical question is answered, as it does not always hold true: "you get what you pay for." (in the literal sense).

A brighter and more toned down version of "EO N°1 (Pure Parfum) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent". Gasoline, warm spice, elegant rose/oud.

Slightly animalistic, it smells like tea on a high-quality leather base for me. Many facets emerge, sandalwood is prominent. Beautiful.

Beautiful brown leather, as well as black tea associations in the opening. The floral heart is very subdued before moving to the warm, smoky base(.)

Great dark and leathery scent that skillfully transforms its initially well-defined but bearable animalic notes into a dark brown (...)

Deep, dark woody oud experience!
Leathery, unsweet, smoky. Delicate hints of fresh rose.
Warm, almost amber-like base.

Thoroughly masculine!
Deep-dark tobacco-spicy leather scent
Finally without any raspberry nonsense

Special oud quality or not - it doesn't change the annoying incense ham attitude. Also very leathery, not spicy & dark.
