Hello everyone,
we are TALKING here about a fragrance or a brand that should never enter "my world".
Why?
Over the course of many years, I have always increased my budget bit by bit in relation to the maximum price for a fragrance. In the sense of once it was 300€, over 500€, then came the Roja AP's and then came the Roja Haute Luxe with gold leaf - it was supposed to be the spearhead (financially)... at some point I got the opportunity to buy
Homeros Parfum in the super rare "AMBRE" version (42 worldwide) and yes.... i bought it.
Now I have it and it's fierce....
Quality:
This is the point where you can clearly say, if not EO then who? ALD used to have an abnormal quality, today only with cutbacks, but EO had this then, yesterday and today and certainly also tomorrow!
EO is really "at the TOP" in terms of the pure quality of the ingredients... and anyone looking for more = difficult to impossible!
The company uses ingredients that it feels were only available in the right edition for a fragrance, many ingredients are no longer available afterwards and you really notice it, in the sense that you are not (primarily) paying the company/manufacturer here, but the pure quality and this aspect makes it more pleasant and easier to buy something like this.
(This brings me directly to the next topic!)
Topic price:
In general, I find it relatively difficult and somewhere ungrateful to philosophize about it. Everyone has a different budget and possibly a certain preference / or connection to the brand or loves certain notes / directions and so on. As a merchant I can tell you, YES it is worth a test and then decide for yourself whether yes or no (BUY).
What does it smell like!!!!!
______________________________
Fragrances from this brand are so MEGA complex that they always smell slightly different after 5 minutes.
Something green, something animalic, something resinous, something fruity, A LOT OF WOOD, due to the incredible amount of ambergris - something very mystical and mysterious. At some point it becomes a little drier and I get a vibe of old oak table (wonderful) and after 6h the saffron slowly comes out giving the fragrance a wonderful finish!
I don't think it's possible to describe many things in such detail because you have to experience it for yourself. At the end of the day, I am grateful that I was able to get to know EO!
Performance:
What can you say about EO? Most fragrances have a 9 or 10 for longevity and yes - rightly so. You notice that after 1 to 2 hours, the fragrances start to fade somewhat in terms of sillage, but this is due to the absurd concentration and certainly not (really) surprising.
But it's certainly not annoying - on the contrary, you don't get on anyone's nerves with your fragrance. Nowadays, this is worth much more to me than it was xx years ago, by the way!
And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you are reading this review, LG the Benny
