A fruity, animalistic rose fragrance
Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Private Blend :-) I really liked this animalic-fruity rose fragrance. The longevity is strong with well over 12 hours and the sillage is also very pronounced.
The top note starts off fruity and sweet thanks to dark blackberries with light cola vibes. It also smells spicy and subtly greenish like black tea. The heart note is very floral thanks to rose water with a hint of jasmine blossom, narcissus and some tuberose. There is also a creaminess in the background. The base smells decidedly animalistic, still sweet but also woody and balsamic with musk, oud and sandalwood.
In the end, this fragrance doesn't blow me away, but there should be a few fans who will certainly remain loyal to Ensar Oud ;-)
