Finding things about you that I don't like will be hard...
Hello everyone,

What I said above is true, and I'll put it another way - if you know the fragrance direction and perhaps really like it, then I would be indirectly very surprised if this Attar doesn't appeal to you.

Important for some!

The Attars from EO are usually really HARDCORE, many are very animalistic and yes - you really have to want that, and that's one of the reasons why those who test Attars usually don't..., unfortunately. Also, many only see 1g, 1.5g, 2g, or 3g and think so much money for so little...

Yes, I can understand this line of thought to some extent, and YES, I also saw it this way for many years, but you will be "shocked" at how economical these Attars are. My "Purple Rain (Attar) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" is already over 3 years old and it still has more than 1g left from the original 2g, just to illustrate the topic of being economical!

___________

About the scent:

It is like the spray perfume "Jamaican Ambergris | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" but even denser and more intense and (for me!) almost more pleasant.

What do I mean by that?

Fragrances from EO are, price-wise, practically the end of the food chain, and they bring not only incredibly great quality (fragrance oils) but also a sometimes intense sillage - this must be taken into account. Because these fragrances are not made for the general public; they are works of art and should be seen as such.

Many fragrances from the brand (actually almost all!) work with (animal) musk and oud (leathery, dark woody), and this is too intense, too strong, and unfamiliar for many Western noses, leading to very strange associations for many.

That's why it's sometimes advisable to take it down a notch and not go for the spray perfumes, but sometimes to go for Attars.

Why exactly?

Due to the very high concentration of fragrance oils, the longevity is even better than with "Jamaican Ambergris | Ensar Oud / Oriscent," but the sillage is weaker (except at the very beginning, where it makes a powerful statement).

But why do I find this good...?

More and more, I am reaching an AGE (approaching 40^^) where a strong sillage sometimes annoys me. For example, when I'm at home, at family gatherings, or out and about, and my fragrance (primarily applies to EO and ALD) practically overwhelms others and everything smells like me, and people look annoyed because of me and..., then this is sometimes not my intention.

That's why I now, and for the last few years, prefer to wear quieter fragrances sometimes (not always), so I don't annoy others with the scents I wear, but ultimately still have the incredible quality, just more for myself. This way, I am surrounded by a constant and expressive BUBBLE in the 1m to 2m range, and at the end of the day, that is almost enough for me.

Ultimately, I wear fragrances for myself and only for myself. I haven't bought a fragrance just to appeal to the other gender - of course, I am very pleased when what I wear is well received, no question. But it was never a focus or my motivation to provoke that.

So much general blabla and hardly anything about the scent...!

- rosy
- more red berries
- less wood
- the smoky and slightly mineral-maritime ambergris flair comes very subtly, but only really noticeable much LATER

I also have a review of "Jamaican Ambergris | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" here)

WHEN and where?

Except for summer + high summer, it is almost always and subtly used, making it very bearable, and your fellow humans will really like it! This fragrance direction is meant to please!

Test recommendation - if possible, because in my opinion, it deserves so much more attention.

And now have a nice day/evening or whenever you read this review, best regards, Benny

I never want to leave here again
I wiped a generous splash on my skin without thinking, having a faint idea and little expectation of what would greet me there. I did it, and I felt a heavenly embrace from the very beginning, such a lovely, beautiful creature you are, exalted and angelic, immersing me in your wondrous world.
Enchantingly beautiful and sweet, you welcome me with airy, light eyelash flutters from exalted woods, so ancient yet so clear, carrying me over your homeland just above the earthy ground, showing me lush tobacco harvests, fresh peach trees thriving on the golden sandy beach, then gently laying me in rose jam, raspberry powder dust falling from the blue sky, the fresh moss growing in slow motion, gentle amber waves driven by the wind across the island, a hint of green mint revealing the chocolate musk creature that balsamically taps in the cool dark. I saw all this as you carried me away to the end of the valley where the yellow sandalwood grows in vanilla smoke. The jungle can finally take me.
-----------------------------------------------
Here I receive a complete island delivered just for me alone, well, with the musk creature, but that is sooo sweet. I find the scent penetrates immediately
a wow and a wow for me, beautiful juicy wood, the resin of delicate red fruits, soft musk, an exotic solitude, bright, clear, and distinct, creamy buttery jasmine and ripe violet roses, fruity, fleshy, the rainforest
opens softly with minty barks, yellow bananas, and royal musk, gentle yet exalted, but vain. The scent only slowly shifts to the back, only in the last third
does the amber reveal itself, the oud presses permanently until the sandalwood appears, creamy with delicate cinnamon and rice grains, a campfire burns far back, black vanilla pods, the day is drawing to a close, little flowers spray their last blossom juice upwards, it gets cooler, the sea sends minerals.
Everything sleeps, no stress, the stars twinkle in the firmament, I wait at the edge, wanting to return to my jungle land.
Thank you, Georg975, for the testing opportunity.

The Full Blast of Amber
The "Jamaican Ambergris Attar | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" lives up to its name. Qualitatively, this is quite a fine fragrance, but for my sensitive nose, it is a bit too intense. The longevity is brutal, lasting over 24 hours, and the sillage is also impressive.

In the top note, the ambergris is immediately present. Thanks to Peru balsam, it has a slightly dark scent, beautifully reminiscent of bourbon vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. The heart note is floral, with scents of rose water, jasmine blossoms, and frangipani, but also has a woody-oriental aspect from the oud. Additionally, there is a fine smokiness that lingers. In the base, the amber is omnipresent and even has a slightly creamy quality. It smells exceptionally balsamic but also animalistic.

Neutral and objectively speaking, I understand why the "Jamaican Ambergris Attar | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" is received so well here. But as mentioned at the beginning, I or my nose is a bit overwhelmed. I thank Nick for the sample.

Sweet and salty, a sea of blossoms meets amber, exotic and balsamic. Creamy oud, subtly woody, cheerful yet with a dark base.

I sit in the sand at the South Sea beach,
fruit sangria in hand,
the creamy amber breeze blows in my face,
the oud planks float in the sea.

Resinous-smoky oud, soaked in sweet fruit infusion, seasoned with salty amber. Syrupy, thick, black brew with great longevity, beautiful!

Smoky and animalistic, probably due to "Maroke SQ | Ensar Oud / Oriscent". The intoxication is pitch black; the animals are dirty with saltwater..

A beautiful attar that highlights amber and oud, framed by rose and vanilla. Unfortunately, not much happens for me here.

At the beach, salty, sandy gray amber welcomes a handful of jasmine blossoms and a few roses! Abuyog stops by too! Awesome!
