Nice start, difficult end
Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Lily Gris Abu Yog :-) I was quite taken with the top and heart notes. Unfortunately, the fragrance ends extremely earthy and musty. The longevity is great at around 12 hours and the sillage is also more than successful so far.
The top note smells extremely exciting. It smells fresh and aquatic on the one hand, but also floral on the other, with notes of blue lotus, lily of the valley and rose water. The heart note briefly smells sweetly of ambergris before spices and smoke come to the fore. I recognize saffron, jasmine tea, frankincense, myrrh, opoponax and tobacco. The base destroys a really beautiful fragrance for me. Unfortunately, the oud creates musty, musty, earthy and root-like notes.
Too bad, too bad...there was much more here, but I just can't get used to the earthy adlewood mustiness.
