Becomes Quite Beautiful Towards the End
Many thanks to Nick for the sample of "Oud Sultani: Kelantan | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" :-) I was surprised by the development of the scent, as I was initially only moderately impressed but ended up quite happy. The longevity is a strong 12 hours as usual, and the sillage is also quite successful.
The top note has a very animalic scent reminiscent of castoreum. However, labdanum, dried plums, and plantain syrup also resonate, creating a dark aura. The heart note smells sweet and floral, featuring rose water, iris, blue lotus, violet, and jasmine blossoms. In the base, the oud comes into play, but in a rather pleasant, woody, and less intrusive manner. It continues to smell sweet, animalic, and slightly balsamic with notes of musk, amber, and bourbon vanilla.
Those who like "Oud Sultani 1975 | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" might also find happiness here, as both fragrances smell quite similar.
