The only Oud perfume you need

This gem needs no introduction.
The senior version of the first Oud perfume by one of the very best Oud distillers on the planet.

Part of the EO: Heritage collection, this edition is bolder and darker than the original fragrance, with a mélange of extra Ouds from Cambogia and Koh Kong’s red 12 yrs distillation and aged Bhutanese Oud infused with tonkin musk, brightened by the sweetest roses de mai, lilacs and narcissus, among other greeneries, made juicier with apricot and bloody orange overture… but don’t be fooled by these peachy delicacies: the Prima Donna is Oud here!

The only Oud perfume you need, if there ever was one.

It is a perfume Oriental Woody 'Oud Citrus Floral Spiced Musk; was launched in 2024 to celebrate 20 years of its activity in the Handmade Perfumery of 'oud and other rare natural ingredients. Ensar of Turkish nationality is the nose behind this creation and also founder and owner of the Brand. Ensar Oud has been noted as the best distiller of the best 'ouds found in the world, you will not find anything that comes close to ANY brand of NICHE. And no use putting gold plate in fancy jars and cover 6K, 8K the unit forget...
Ensar Oud Creates The Best Oils and Perfumes From 'Oud In The World!

This excellent fragrance already opens with a peculiar bittersweet bitterness by a strong mix of rare wild natural oud in the literal sense even, the 'oud here was used in the eccentric proportion of 50% in the formula of the fragrance, an unimaginable amount of perfumes said "'oud'" seen around. A dark, woody, resinous and fruity oud; without aggressive elements: fecal, stable, corral or animalesco. We used 'ouds of extreme quality multifaceted.
Soon this dense dark resinous blend of 'oud will merge with a wonderful bouquet of flowers also an amazing naturalness, it is clear that it is 4K definition/ resolution of notes and chords. Highlighted a rose of unparalleled magnificence, maybe the quality of the rose and 'oud that approaches what was used in this perfume is Frederic Malle’s The Night which is another fragrance out of the curve, but in The Night the 'oud is Indian more difficult and challenging, is not the case in Oud Yusuf.

Rounding off the fragrance, a sweet fruity counterpart emerges for a tender and juicy apricot and sweet citrus. The blood orange is a spectacle taking the place of the rose and assuming the protagonism side by side with the 'oud making a beautiful duet and away the perfume from becoming more a combo 'Oud & Rosa. The duet 'Oud & Orange is nothing new has been explored several times before by Ensar Oud, Bortnikoff and Areej Le Doré and more recently even by Amouage at King Blue. This fruity sweetness in the center of the fragrance is delicious and brings a deep amber chord blending perfectly into the composition. Permeating the fragrance I also find a very noticeable herbal green dry nuance although discreet, something with a hayy vibe, probably is the junk [do not know this ingredient] that I researched and saw that it is a plant. A Tonkin musk (already extinct) differentiated clean nothing animalic, only carries a slight roughness the composition. A spicy heat of spices is always present too.

I have known Ensar Oud perfumes since its beginning 20 years ago when Ensar began his career in the distillation of 'wild ouds' oils, which became known as 'Attar' although attar = عطر is the Arabic word that means perfume any perfume is in oil or spray.
As I was saying I had and/ or tried several oils and perfumes spray brand. Even had bottle of the first batch of the first perfume spray created by Ensar Oud in 2018 the iconic EO Nr.1. And it is evident its evolution in the domain of mixing rare, expensive and exotic ingredients with mastery.
That’s why the perfumes Ensar Oud are the consumption dream of every true lover of natural oud; although in many cases unfortunately the prices per ml have become prohibitive.
But definitely Oud Yusuf Pure Parfum is a Masterpiece of Oriental Perfumery 'Oud Natural.
And most importantly:

Masterpiece Cambodi

The aroma immediately opens with a hint of dry aged and woody Cambodi, immediately accompanied and contrasted by light acidulous and fruity notes, and many white flowers where orange blossom is perceptible.
Further floral notes emerge in the dry down, but the initial dichotomy is maintained. A touch of Tonkin Musk reinforces the fragrance and gives it body.
A simple but wonderful fragrance. For lovers of Cambodian oud, this is a must.

Hello everyone,

Tonight, I would like to say something about "Oud Yusuf (2024) (Pure Parfum) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent".

You are a truly nearly perfect entry. - EO!

- reasonably priced
- mass-compatible and beginner-friendly
- no annoying + harsh Oud or musk note that could irritate oneself
- great development / multifaceted
- great H/S (and in my opinion a bit underrated and too unknown)
- ...

About the scent directly:

In the opening, not just 1, 2, or 3 fragrance notes are very prominent, but a real multitude, and that makes it really beautiful right from the start. We have several fruits, delicate flowers, almost something sparkling, the lovely soft and creamy Tonkin musk, as well as, of course, the main actor, the various types of Oud (you can tell one more than the other, but primarily the more noticeable one is the Thai Oud like before).

As it develops, the fruits disappear and the flowers recede significantly, and actually, you only notice a mix of the creamy musk and a slightly spicy Oud, although this has relatively little to do with the Oud of "Oud Yusuf (Pure Parfum) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent".

I received a sample of it xx weeks ago, and it is completely different....

Although it is only a single fragrance note (Thai Oud), it has POWER, and you can sense so many facets in it, and it is not for "untrained" noses...

The "Oud Yusuf (2024) (Pure Parfum) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" is really beautiful and very usable, however, it has a small/large disadvantage... - this is something personal and does not have to annoy you "at all".

What is it now?

It is the residue on the skin. Almost every EO has this, I know, and especially the attars too, I know that as well. However, here it is more about the color... - those I know have a very dark green to black shimmer, but here it is yellow to almost orange... almost exactly like the plaque.
(yellowish to orange, which does not disappear = even after x to xx hours)

You don't have to see it that way!

If the option arises - test it,
you might not regret it!

On the topic of price:

In terms of price, I find it ultra modest to evaluate something like this, as the products offered by EO are basically in the ULTRA - High-end - niche - Artisan - luxury - league, and therefore I find it incredibly modest to actually say something like that. Yes, there are perfumes and oils with prices that some cars cost...., but everyone has to decide for themselves whether that is WORTH it or not - that’s how I see the topic!
