Wrong Address?
Today I was able to smell the White Kinam by Ensar Oud for the first time.
Even though the impression can be summed up quickly, one statement is not enough to describe this experience.
The recent pricing policy of Ensar Oud is certainly worth a discussion of its own. Paper labels, air inclusions in cheap glass bottles, the cheapest sprayers that are just barely up to the task with a lot of imagination, a sales marketing that always presses on the Fomo button, fragrances that are discontinued and then reappear smelling completely different and sometimes diluted under the same name... All of these are things that could certainly be critically evaluated given the prices.
But we are all here for the "juice." - Or are we not?
The scent impression of White Kinam:
A Louis Vuitton Meteor with a homeopathic amount of iris, with someone walking by at a VERY great distance from a crumb of Kinam on a heater.
Nothing more happens here.
Fragrance pyramid? - Haha.
Complexity? - Nonexistent.
Depth? - Not a chance.
At first, I thought the sample was mislabeled.
If I had spent $2100 on this fragrance in a blind buy, I would certainly have added a few hundred dollars to fly to Jordan and return the fragrance in person.
The scent is not bad, don’t get me wrong, but it is neither what it promises nor worth its price in the slightest.
One more reason to stop buying Ensar blindly from now on.
