Pineapple in its right sense
Something that makes me sad is that there isnt any natural isolate of pineapple, as the same with cherry, there isnt any oil to extract from them sadly, but even this little touch of synthetics works, because pineapple is such an amazing scent and i think that this is the best use ever of pineapple, as Eric himself called the original "Starr Burst | House of Heartistry / Heartistry Perfumery" "The Pineapple Fougere." That description is still very fitting here, but with a lot more musk and a lot more oud. This scent is really one of a kind and im happy to have one of the bottles ever made, its beautiful, sparkly, sweet, fruity, but so much more at the same time, lets dive into this!
The scent opens really bright and fizzy, the citruses shines through amazingly with the addition of musk, a really bright and uplifting wave of citrus musk. The way the top notes blend together is something really beautiful, i might need to say this is my new favorite scent from Eric, its so amazing and i would love a full 15 ml some day but i have a feeling it will be very hard getting my hands on something that rare... But either way, the musk is a sweet one not spicy, the citrus zest and sweetness blends perfectly into this and creates a sweet musk and citrus scent, but more is to come
When it dries down, you know why its called pineapple fougère. The spicyness from a fougere shines through, but it has something more to it than that, a fruity and sweet pineapple, the best one ive ever seen in perfumery, a beautiful, sweet but sour pineapple, the way the pineapple blends with the musk is impeccable, the beautiful sweet but also spicy faces shows with something close to a leather feeling, a smooth and sweet leather ive only ever smelt here, its beautiful, its amazing, its perfect
When its at its core the oud shows, a white oud with a lot of sweet musk shines through you, a lot of that woody, resinous and sweet feeling but the pineapple also remains, i think i have to call out and say that this one topples merciful hearts and is from now on my favorite scent ever, im very happy to have tried this thanks to a friend of mine, im very pleased and i will hunt down a 15 ml bottle :)
