Not my Spritzes, Not My Carnival
This is fresh like the soap in an interstate bathroom rest stop is fresh. It’s not bad, per se, but it doesn’t deliver on the marshmallow note promised at the base. While I often love freesia in a perfume, because it’s both fresh and feminine sensibilities, I can’t find it here. This scent doesn’t do a great job at articulating most of the listed floral notes either.
I’m happy to say that the passion fruit note is hiding. Yes, I know it’s a trendy 2026 summer note but I find that 9 times out of 10 that passionfruit smells like body odor rather than tropical fruit.
Of all the listed notes, the most obvious to my nose is tuberose. It’s bubble gummy and prominent. It’s not a bad version of tuberose, but it’s also my least favorite white floral note. In other words, you u gotta love tuberose and aren’t too picky about fresh scents.
Because I have tried the original, I can’t say how close the two are. Either way, I’m not the target audience for either option.
