Sahara Sunset
The title hits the nail on the head, not the actual name of the perfume.
In my opinion, this is not a night in the Sahara, but a beautiful scenario in the sky. A scent that is made to step into the darkness. From the hot terrain into the cold, lonely night.
A sensory transformation that slowly draws from the heights into the depths. With all its colorful facets that such a sunset brings. Not only the eye rejoices at the sight, but the soul also gradually allows itself to be placed in an apathetic state to rest and feel the silence of the night.
A beautiful sunset that lays like a silk cloak over dark souls, that's how it rattles in my head, a black-and-white film rolling down when I apply the scent. Wrapped in a gentle sand note that reveals itself more profoundly as the sun sinks deeper. Smoke rises, as if someone in the distance has kindled a dense fire.
It burns itself into my heart, enveloping it with tar, before warm tones soften it after a short time and place me in an inner calm, as if I were about to fall asleep for a long time.
It only becomes lighter when a bit of honey mixes in and settles around the body like a honeycomb structure. Everything flooded with the warm oranges and reds of the sunset.
When the sun is down, the scent becomes sandier. It has edges and corners. Yet it somehow flows through the dusty era.
Many say the scent resembles Sahara Noir. Yes, it does. But it is much gentler and not as mature as Tom Ford's Sahara, where I develop fewer sunny feelings than with this one.
The longevity and sillage are absolutely top-notch, only the bottle is average. But as so often in life, only the content matters.
